Mario was bloody excellent!

Tevez on the bench would be perfect.

I'd play both if they are fit.

Both deserve a place.

Balo worked his arse off today.

After watchhning the second half, I'm a bit tempted to try a Balo/Yaya partnership up front. Yaya is easily the best target player we have, and Balo looked more than up to it, taking a bigger defensive responsibility.

And if anyone reckons Balo doesn't care, look at the way he dives in on the goal celebration, he was ecstatic

No way Mario was amazing although he did ok so let's no go OTT ( as usually happens:))

Go OTT about the team as much as you like.
Tevez ,if fully fit, should play and will play in the final.

Pretty much. Mario played well though, objectively - won his against one of the most established CB partnerships on the continent, played others in and put a lot of effort into tracking back. His celebrations for the goal and at the end were great too. That wild shot with 2 minutes to run could've given me a heart attack but he had a good game.

Tevez will feature though if fit. By miles our most potent attacking player and deserves the chance to lift silverware with the club.

Mario put in a really good shift and can clearly play on his own up front. If Tevez is match fit I expect he'll start though. I suspect it would then be a choice between Balo and Johnson to start. Very different players of course.

I reckon we shouldn't change anything.
All players put in a shift and I can't find fault with any one of them. Really proud of them today, did what was needed for a much deserved win!

Is this our year...?

Too early for this discussion but I thought the Mario/Yaya partnership worked well today and we're going to see it tested more in the next few weeks.
If Tevez is fit he will surely start though.

Wouldnt play tevez again this season, if he wants to go fair enough. The guy is just a one man circus.

Tevez is the club captain. Of course he'll play if he's fit.

Thats my point, the players must know his heart is elsewhere but still he`s captain and tallisman . Life goes on.

If we win.. likely.

Should be Vinny who lifts it though.

The man is Manchester City right now.

I agree and if Richards is fit, then does he or Alex play. I know who I would prefer, so to firmly say same team one month from now is a bit premature. So much can happen in that time.
