Watching the last few minutes on ITV+1 now, and Joe Hart was amazing.

After watchhning the second half, I'm a bit tempted to try a Balo/Yaya partnership up front. Yaya is easily the best target player we have, and Balo looked more than up to it, taking a bigger defensive responsibility.

Pretty much. Mario played well though, objectively - won his against one of the most established CB partnerships on the continent, played others in and put a lot of effort into tracking back. His celebrations for the goal and at the end were great too. That wild shot with 2 minutes to run could've given me a heart attack but he had a good game.

Tevez will feature though if fit. By miles our most potent attacking player and deserves the chance to lift silverware with the club.

Mario put in a really good shift and can clearly play on his own up front. If Tevez is match fit I expect he'll start though. I suspect it would then be a choice between Balo and Johnson to start. Very different players of course.

All players put in a shift and I can't find fault with any one of them. Really proud of them today, did what was needed for a much deserved win!

Wouldnt play tevez again this season, if he wants to go fair enough. The guy is just a one man circus.

Tevez is the club captain. Of course he'll play if he's fit.

Thats my point, the players must know his heart is elsewhere but still he`s captain and tallisman . Life goes on.

I agree and if Richards is fit, then does he or Alex play. I know who I would prefer, so to firmly say same team one month from now is a bit premature. So much can happen in that time.
