After all his negative comments from some of our fans, well done yesterday , kept valencia in his back pocket all game. Don't think valencia beat him once. No doubt someone will find fault with him but from me well done superb .

I agree. Feared the worst when I saw his name on the team-sheet but when it mattered most, he delivered.

Think Berbatov might have scored if Kolarov had not pressured him

Both City fullbacks had great games

Was an excellent attacking threat in the second half, and also won a lot of 50-50 balls ahead on Nani

Can only echo these comments - thought he was gonna get ripped to shreds but he manned up yesterday and did well.

He wasn't the best at the start, gave away a needless corner and backed off Valencia a bit too much, but to be fair the entire team didn't start well. He grew into the game and had a really good second half

Well in that man

I think he has been dire. That said, he played well yesterday, as did the defence as a whole, really solid.

You're not alone in thinking that. I noticed only through the replay how berbaflop had to quicken his slide because of 'Ksandr last-ditch tackle, plus he took good care of Valencia

I may have to watch the game again from a more relaxed perspectice but nothing much changed for me regardng his abilities,i just don't see his quality - Poor pace, lacks aggression, mistimed tackles, poor distribution, lack of vision and often makes the wrong choice of pass or,worse still, shoots at every opportunity even when far better options are available.

Not for me,especially at 19m...!! That truly is astounding.

I have a Serbian friend who just this week called him a Christian rapist motherfucker who should die. That seemed harsh. She is Muslim tho. European racism is always amazing to me. We Americans can't hold a candle to the shit you stir up in each other.

Anyway, football wise he was fine yesterday. Everyone was which is why we won. What a day and what a team.

Cheers

The Balkans have always been a racial powderkeg Doomy. World war one started there with the assassination of Franz Ferdinand (no not Rio) and that, inadvertently led to world war two as well.

Then there were the more recent tragic events in Kosovo etc.

Absolutely agree, our worst player yesterday.

I'm prepared to say he was brilliant though just because we won. Couldn't give a shit about anyone's performance!

He was brilliant going forward yesterday..I still think he should be a midfielder not a defender

I'd like to see him play a game in midfield, the runs he made yesterday were great. We could play him the way Spurs play Bale, i know he doesn't have the pace like Bale but he has a hell of a shot on him and if made the runs like yesterday and cut in he could really bag some goals.

He's played in midfield and was a similar bag of wank there as well.

He just needs some time to get settled still, unbelievably. I just wish it wasn't like he a trapsing around like some geriatric in a scooter. That fact alone I feel kinda dooms him.
