yellow cards and the Final

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

yellow cards and the Final

Anyone know how many yellow card some of City's more robust players are on and how many it takes to get a ban? It'd be bloody awful if someone got suspended for the Final, and there's sure to be some yellows handed out in the Everton and Spurs matches. Thinking especially of NDJ, Kompany, Balotelli, and Zabaleta. You'd have to hope Mancini would be keeping count and would rest a player in those last games if they were one card away from a suspension.

There was an amnesty 10th of April.

No one bothered to put a challenge in on Monday night so no one was booked.

So with only 4 games between today and the final one of the 4 players booked yesterday would have to get booked in each remaining game to miss out. I'd put this beyond most people, but Balotelli isn't like most people.

NDJ with yesterday has 9 yellows I think and Zabba has 8.I think. They are the two in danger.
10 gets you a ban.2 gmes.In the league
I don't know if the FA cup is a competition that these count towards. From what I have been able to find out it might be in which case Nigel better do like Beckham did and get it over and done with getting one in next game

Only reds count for suspensions now, yellows don't count (unless of course you get two in one game)
