after reading the n'zogbia thread, what player would people take from the bottom 5 teams, wigan, wolves, west ham, blackburn & blackpool.
the decent players from each team being N'zogbia, rodellega, james mccarthy, from wigan Jarvis from wolves, Green, noble, parker, hitzlsperger, bridge ha ha from west ham, Robinson Phil Jones from blackburn, adams from blackpool
any of these or any more i have missed worth a punt for our squad,

blackburn
samba at a long shot back up Central Defender
west ham
NONE
Wolves
Elokobi to jkeep all the other players safe from harm
Jarvis maybe as a squad player
Blackpool
Gilks as backup for Hart
Wigan
N'Zogbia but he needs to stop being a moody tart
moses has potential but needs to start producing the goods
Rodallega, for some reason I like the fella.

id take any of their 1st choice keepers if shay goes. also parker, nzogbia, jarvis, adam. and maybe take a punt on jones from blackburn and matt phillips from blackpool as he changed the game when he came on against us when we beat them 1-0. however none of them for our 1st team. all back up

Mccarthy or Nzogbia at wigan.
Adam at blackpool.
Doyle/jarvis from wolves.
Jones from blackburn.
No one from west ham.
Dont think id take there keepers, i want westwood as our second choice next year.

No one, none are good enough for where we're going.
The Stuart Pearce days are gone, we dont need to scrounge shit players anymore.
Id have Samba though lol ;o)

Parker would be excellent for us because we look weak when de jong is out, it's no coincidence our bad form happens when he is out. Imagine a DM pairing of Parker and de Jong away at Chelsea and Arsenal ect, fantastic.
N'Zogbia is a great player, questionable attitude but if we could pick him up on the cheap then he is defo worth a shout.
Phil Jones is another who would be a great player to have in our squad, versatile in defence and midfield.

I don't think I'd want Parker. He's looked pretty good at West Ham and Charlton (both shit teams) but flopped at Chelsea. If he's not good enough for Chelsea, he's not good enough for us.
N'Zogbia I would take if the price wasn't too extortionate. He has plenty of great attributes and can play in several positions.
I haven't seen enough of Jones to make a full comment, although he did look good the other night.
Jarvis from Wolves has looked good whenever I've seen him this year, although moving from Wolves to us is a HUGE step up. Again, it would need to be a relatively cheap price for us to take him.
These teams are generally struggling because they are made up of pretty poor players overall. If we were to buy a player from any of these teams, it would have to be a relatively inexpensive purchase as there is a big risk they would not be good enough for us.

Jarvis and Adam are the next Sidwell/SWP/Parker in waiting.
They'll get their moves to bigger clubs and flop especially Adam who plays so many hollywood balls that go wrong and cost Blackpool goals. He plays like he currently does for a Spurs/Liverpool and he'll be dropped after 3 games.

I remember reading an interview with marwood where he said it was between signing moses or aj. We got the one 100% right. If wigan go down moses will be at QPR next season.
Jarvis would be ok backup, but thats about it. Not one player in them teams who could press for a starting place in our team.
Ps. Dub i like what doyle does for the republic but do you really think he would add anything to our squad? He's perfect for the type of club he is at now. He's a workhorse, nothing more

Oh thank god, I thought I was going batty with everyone on here wanking over him like he is the English Iniesta.
HUGELY inconsistent player.

can't think of a single player tbh.
we should be looking at "the best world XI" for our next signings - not the scrapings from the PL relegated.
which leads me to...
