His english has either got a lot better, or he hasn't been letting on how much he knows, as in previous interviews he could hardly get a word out.

I swear I saw an interview with him a few months ago when his English was great - also, quite a few interviews in the press have highlighted how good his English is, as interviews went ahead without a translator, even in his early weeks of being a City player.

I think he's a crafty little sod and pretends its not very good so he can get away with saying little :)

i also got the impression that he is very focused - like when he said we need to win the final before discussing how we will celebrate winning it

Yeah I must have just seen these interviews then, I thought that he might have been playing that card a bit!

Just had a listen to your band btw :) Reminds me of the KBC - familiar with them? Loved them at one point.

I'm in a brand spanking new band. Have a listen if ya like - www.myspace.com/embersembers

I'm just surprised his hair grows insanely fast and that he has a new haircut every week!

Can we get another season out of our French Pat or is this his swansong?

He has been an amazing late game stabilizing influence on the side and we really don't have a player of his experience to do the same job.

Agreed. We'd be the ideal platform for him to earn his stripes as a coach and his presence would continue to be a positive influence on the young players.

No brainer - get it done.

Who's the bloke who does most of the interviews on the OS? He sounds like a right wet lettuce and really pisses me off.

top interview thanks to vieira and balo ... the man behind the mic does have a bit of work to do, doesn't seem very confident and I think that's the root of most of his problems.

Is it the same twat who does the commentary on the club website highlights? Now he really annoys me with his attempts to put on some sort of continental accent when saying non-English players' names. Every time Yaya has the ball, he calls him 'Toure Yaya' and the way he says 'Balotelli' really bugs me!

Sorry...rant over!
