just being generally down to earth about the teams around him and Spurs' chances next season, and about charlie adam's foul on bale yesterday. overall, couldn't disagree with anything he said really.

i might have picked the wrong time for this thread tho...

I think he's a cunt & would like to run him over with a steamroller until his face stopped twitching & he was no longer available for a quote on any subject but, hey, that's just me, sorry if I spoil the general tone of things.

I don't mind Harry but Harry as England manager is wearily predictable. Stage 1 will be much celebration in the media with stuff about 'understanding the passion' and 'motivating the players '. Stage 2 will see us do well and talk about how we will do against Brazil in the WC final. Stage 3 will see us hit a rocky patch. Media get 'twitchy' (see what I did there?) but still supportive of Harry. Stage 4 sees us steady the ship cue much media 'high fiving' and then Stage 5 Disaster strikes as we fail to qualify in our last game.

Harry resigns and media then push for a foreign coach to be hired with the 'tactical nous' to make sure we get to the major competitions where 'England belongs'. Foreign coach is hired, does well, qualifies and then we flop in the actual tournament. Cry then goes out to get an English manager who 'understands the passion' etc etc.

Or in short just repeat the last decade.

i didn't see this particular interview, but i think he would do a triffic job as the next England manager. Good chance he gets more from less than the fancy dan Italiano who's running the ship for you guys now.

cheers

I totally agree. I think he would do a great job as England's next manager.

Some of you have short memories, he is a fucking manipulating cockney cunt. Bitter to the very end, don't change your thoughts on him just because of one article. Its abit like when SWP comes on for 20 mins and crosses the ball twice, people start thinking he still has it in him.

I would like him as next England manager so that he fucks off out of the premier league.

Correct me from wrong but isnt he up in court this summer charged with tax evasion and if convicted facing a spell at her majesty's pleasure? Will be hard to manage the England team with crusher up his marmite motorway in the shower block.

Mind you, he could probably still do better than Capello even from that dodgy position.

That would be great fun; he has to smuggle out the team sheets, perhaps stuck up Jamie's arse? All the press waiting to see who he's picked, waiting outside the bogs whilst Jamie shouts the names out "gnnnnphhhh....Rio Ferdinand..." "ughhhfffffukkkinell can't read this one..hang on a minute..."

I like the guy. No bullshitting, no excuses. He admits when Spurs play crap. He's down to earth, doesn't blow his own trumpet, imo we needs more managers like him. He doesn't get involved in all the media hoohah, yet he happily talks to the media about signings and whatnot. Simply said, I like him.
