Sorry about this but i did wait a while before starting the post.

I am as happy as a pig in shit this Monday morning because i only have "3 sleeps" before i board the plane to England. I am walking around with the biggest cheesy grin on my face as the excitement has now got to me big style. I know how priveledged I am to have a ticket and know that a lot of loyal blues will be missing out on the final.

Now that all my ducks are in a row it is all systems go for me and my dad. My whole life I have been told about the glory years when he watched Bell, Lee, Summerbee, Pardoe etc. Now it is my turn to repay the old man by taking him to the final.

Anyone from here that will be at The Green Man, I hope to be able to have a beer with you before the game. (if it is actually possible to find anyone in there)

Tbh, if we gave Spurs a proper fucking going over & got 4th tomorrow, I would be almost as happy as I would with a cup win.

Being in the Cup Final is all great and everything but winning it is the ONLY thing. Wembley is the absolute worst place in the world to lose a game at, and those older Blues on here who carry the scars of 1981 will vouch for that.

I dont really give a toss what sort of a game or spectacle it is on saturday, only that we win. Thats it.

Saturday will either be the very best or very worst day of my 36 years supporting City. I would also play the gnomes on Tuesday night and not put Kompany, De Jong, Silva or Ya Ya anywhere near the pitch, keeping them for saturday, as we only need a draw on Tues or one win in the other final 2 games.

Yeah I agree that we have to settle the 4th place tomorrow night with all 3 points and then go into Saturdays final knowing that we have secured CL next year. i will be at home on my couch watchig knowing that I will be seeing the boys in blue in the flesh in a few days.

I was there in '99 and for a few minutes (1-0, 2-0 and then 2-1 down) it was not a happy place for me. I will be nervous as hell on Saturday becuase only a win will do. I didn't invest all this money thinking we will not win it.

My nerves are fucking gone already and that's not like me at all. If I'm honest I'm not even thinking of the game tomorrow night and that's coming from a lad who was defiant that 4th is far more important than a cup.

Maybe its because we can actually afford to lose tomorrow night and win just one of our remaining games and still get fourth... but that cup is SO SO important and I actually couldn't sleep last night thinking about it.

Not like me AT ALL. Give me back mediocrity, its easier to handle ;-)

agree with this, said all along 4th is far more important however now the final is so close i cannot think about anything else. including tommorow

Feel sick to death... this week could become the best or the worst week of my life I think.

First there is the game on Tuesday which could either decide on whether we finish 4th (or possibly can finish 3rd still?) or, if Spurs beat us, again, I will lose what is left of my fingernails between now and the rest of the season.

Then there is of course the FA Cup Final on Saturday... and I think that makes me even sicker than thinking about the game tomorrow because even if we lose tomorrow, Spurs still need to win 2 more games and rely on us to not win at least 1 of our last 2.

The thought of playing these thugs in the final really unnerves me, especially considering how our record is against them... I think the only team that would have worried me more would have been Everton or in fact Spurs.

Granted, last time we lost against them was only because the cunt of a referee sent off Adebayor I think.

And then, on a personal level, my wife has a applied for a position in the UK... if she gets it that would be the best fucking thing ever because we would finally relocate back to England and I would finally live near Manchester, get a season ticket, go to matches regularly, etc. .... if she does not get the job, she will be devastated I know it... and I will be too.

Well just like the semi I won't be able to watch the game. Again my son has a game at the same time. I will have to DVR the game and watch it later.

Me too. Each time I think of the final, I get a twist in me gut. Fucking horrible.
