If we can't get 11 fitter than Glen Whelan, Kenwyne Jones & Jermaine Pennant we are truly uttterly fucked.

Good point this. Which makes me wonder..

We want to get 4th ASAP and its more important than winning the FA cup.. however. Would we settle for a loss/draw against Tottenham (rest some big players) to win the FA cup and then expect a win in 1 of the last 2 games?

Or.. all out to win against Tottenham and risk a weaker or more tired team for the final?

Tired? simple, go to bed early.

How the fuck you could be "mentally" tired for a game that gets you your golden dream of Champs League, and an FA cup final, is beyond anything I can try to comprehend.

Years ago, we could have just offered them all half a mill £ if we won. But most of them earn that in a month anyway, so money doesnt motivate them.

Darken the dressing room, silence, just Bobby Manc talking, some old clips playing in silence on a old movie style projector on the wall, showing the goals of us winning big things in the 60's, the 99 play of final, the 2000 Blackburn away game, crunching tackles, clips of the fans singing Bluemoon and doing the Poznan, clips of us losing important games, the fans crying, heart ache. SHOW THE FUCKERS WHAT IT MEANS TO PLAY FOR MANCHESTER CITY.

GO AND EARN YOUR BIG FUCKING OIL STAINED £125,000 A WEEK YOU BASTARD SONS OF BITCHES.

FA cup Final is going to be very tough game, I for one will take any win in any fashion right now. Stoke doing a number on us is a nightmare thought but out of the question !

Gotta be 4th asap!

I'm all for the cup but 4th will enable us to compete for the world's best talents and move the club up to a new level, prestige wise. Seal 4th and it's season mission complete for me.

The cup is a welcome bonus. Love us to win it though!

Both 4th and a cup and i'll be in dreamland!

Strongest team possible for both games. There is still a good chance of 3rd if we win tomorrow and avoiding a potentially very tricky qualifier. Tuesday night until Saturday should be enough of a gap to get refreshed for the final and they can rest properly in a couple of weeks.

4th is more important to manchester city football club and where we will be in a few years. the cup is more important to the fans imo. we should not lose to spurs whether it be a draw or a win does not really matter. get 4th then concentrate on the cup. also if the players cant rouse themselves for a game that could put them with europes elite on the tuesday and then for a cup final on the saturday then they should not be professional footballers.

I'm thinking more clockwork orange sytle, with the players forced to watch years of heartache and fans screaming in their face. Completely break them down psychologically and rebuild them from scratch.
