Going to Wembley without a ticket / Pubs near the ground

My globetrotting finally got up with me this year and my once proud city card points total was at a fairly low number come cup final allocation time so I shall be turning up at Wembley ticketless.
I've gone to City games with the same people for the past past 15 years so I shall be damned if I am not there to celebrate with them after the came, fingers crossed.
Can anyone tell me if there are any decent boozers very close to the ground? Would quite like to suck up the whole experience outside the ground then dive into a pub for the game. Ideally I'd like to take my chances at sneaking in at after full time.

I know spiv has said a few times that the pubs around the ground close 30 mins before kick off and re open after the game.

The Green man is supposed to be one of the best. But if you want to get in you'll have to get there very early, like 10:00-10:30! I'm not sure if it's open after the game. Someone on here surely must have been in for the semis who could give you more info.

By the looks of things, about the same standard as The Green Man. TBH, as about 25k fans are heading to The Green Man, finding another Pub might be a better option.

I left the Roundabout area about an hour before kick-off, and it was chaotic then. Will be complete mayhem on Saturday around 1pm no doubt as The Green Man, Greyhound and other Pubs in that area will be rammed.

Please do, I'm in the same situation and am looking for a back-up pub to watch the game in if I don't get a ticket.

The City Pride in farringdon is a blue pub and will be rammed with blues.
Pubs in the wembley area will close the bar before kick off and wont open again until at least 2 hours after the final whistle because the police dont want ticketless fans mingling in any of the pubs around the area. Dollis hill is 2 stops away from wembley park on the jubilee line (5 minutes) and the willesden working mans club is a 3 minute walk away in villiers road, they will be showing the game on the big screen and only City fans will be allowed in. We are expecting at least 300 blues in before the game as coach inovations are bringing 5 coaches down the same as they did for the semi final.

Was in The Bear before and after the Semi and the atmosphere was electric.
Same as everywhere close to Wembley though. Whoever goes to get the beers in, needs to have the patience of a saint, the ignorance of a rag or the luck of the devil. Oh, and the sense to buy multiple rounds when they finally get served.

At 3:10 I made it into the ground thanks to my sporting prowess and two fat stewards that could never catch me.
F**king amazing expierence. Cant say I enjoyed the 90 minutes though. Utter torture.
Big thank you to Stoke for not turning up.
One of the best days of my life.
Good night one and all.
