All The Mouthing Off

Is coming from Stoke fans.

They keep phoning in talk shows saying 'nobody gives Stoke a mention' & 'City think they're going to win easy'. But it's THEM who are doing all the gobbing off about how great they are as a team & how they're going to beat us. Almost all City fans have been respectful of Stoke & said it'll be a tough game.

If there's any complacency at Wembley, it's these cunts thinking City are going to roll over & fucking die.

Completely agree Ruxpin

I've been checking out that Oatcake forum and I've never seen anything like it

Virtually to a man they are convinced they will do us over almost to the point of cockiness

I don't think we have ever been so confident going into a match..they really fancy themselves

I wonder if they'll be so confident of pushing us over once the actual game starts.

Come on lads lets be rational...... Stoke fans are predomenantly inbred half wits that talk funny, you cant expect them to be objective they are like kids who have been at the blue smarties. Yes it will be a tough match against a team which compensates for ability with physical play but its a mans game and who can blame them if it works, however facts are we have players who are far superior in ability far more experienced in big game scenarios and should if everyone carries out their role comfortably see them off, not by a cricket score but by a couple of goals. My belief is some Stoke players could freeze or the occasion get them too hyped up and the physicality boils over. Its a one off game against a good team and anything could happen however if our boys listen and carry out Mr Mancini's tactics we will be victorious and the silver cleaner will be required at eastlands

The problem is that every media outlet, and all the Bookies, are spouting off as if we have already won it. Every City fan I know is shitting it a bit because of the game itself, accompanied with Stoke's recent run of good form makes it hard for us to be confident of winning. By the same margin, the 6 fingered window lickers are getting above themselves for the same reason.

when we won the semi, it felt like we'd won the cup and almost as if tomorrow would be an anti-climax. However, I think since then, most City fans are nervous and realise how tough tomorrow will be. If they didn't, the Everton game showed our weakness.

As long as the players have realised the same as the fans, I believe our extra class and experience of big games will ultimately play off. If the players are thinking 'it's just stoke', it could be a long trip home.

Two extra positive notes: Mancini is something of a cup specialist and even if we're 2-0 down with a minute to go, Pulis will be worrying.

I think Stoke are right to be confident. Their strengths in attack perfectly match with our weaknesses in defense. Coupled with our possible complacency after cementing 4th place, as well as Stoke's recent form, I really fear we'll shit the bed tomorrow.

I think all the players and coaching staff know exactly what this cup final means to this club and it's fans. I highly doubt any of them are taking Stoke lightly.
