TV COVERAGE OF YESTERYEAR

Some of us of a certain age will remember the good old days of Cup Final It's a Knockout, etc being shown whenever the TV coverage started in the morning of the big game. The link below gives a flavour of ITV's coverage in those glory years and I thought it might bring a few memories back of when the FA Cup Final was THE game of the year.........

'It's a knockout' in it's entirety (and 'Jeux sans frontieres') is a great example of how dire TV was back then. Sure we enjoyed it back then, but my God it really belongs consigned to history! Like Stuart Hall and Eddie Waring really.
