yes - because i'd like us to win and he's the best striker we have.

even if he's not at his fittest.

He has to start imo. I think it will give the whole squad a boost, lets face Dzeko doen't look up to it yet and Ballo is a bit unrelieable.

Question answered already. Not only the best striker the best player. No contest.

If he can play more than 45 mins then yes. If not I'd like to see him play Dzeko and Balo on the wing.

My choice wont be a popular one I know but I like the way the team has played in Tevez's absence and I think Dzekos positional play helps the team.. plus hes due a goal.

See how we play and bring Tevez on after about 60 minutes for a strong finish and hopefully another goal/s. Would also like to see Balotelli on the pitch at some point but only if we're comfortable (which I doubt we wil be). He's also due a goal!

Start with the strongest, Balo should not figure unless we are five up, we can't afford to be two or even three up to have a man sent off, I just can see that happening if Balo starts? I really think he needs to get to the end of the season without further incident and then next season I really think he will be a more mature player.

i get that lee, in some ways we have seemed more balanced and i agree dzeko does more than he's given credit for - but tevez is all-round better at the mo imho.

plus you're andy davies' friend so your opinion is invalid

Depends..if he's not fit I'd rather he plays the second half when Stoke legs are weary than the first

Starting with a not 100% fit Tevez on the bench is pointless.

Winning with 30 mins left, would you take off Dzeko or Balo to bring on a not fully fit striker? No

Losing with 30 mins left, to bring on a not fully fit striker would be too much of a gamble.

Start with him, if he's too far off the pace or gets fcked, take him off and bring on either Balo or Dzeko

Yes. On from the start to maximise his impact. There's no point keeping him wrapped up in cotton wool.
If he's even only 3/4 fit get him on.

If he's 100% match fit then YES, he should start. If not then bench and bring on to run rings round them when they tire.

Jo for a hat-trick in the first 10 mins, then we can bring on Tevez. Just be patient for the Samba man to work his magic

Unlike you Lee, I like the way the team plays while Tevez is there; 10 men plus him just makes it all that better. However, if he isn't up to scratch and if he can't cover at least 70 mins then he shouldn't play from the start.

I'd prefer to get 20 explosive minutes off the bench than 90 labourious ones from the start. Hopefully Mancini will make the right call and not leave it down to Carlos to take the lead.

Come On City!
