26 Years

I've been following City. There were long long periods in my life where something like this was beyond my wildest dreams. I honestly didn't think I'd ever see this happen.

In the end I feel just shocked. Did that really happen? This is all fucking crazy.

Thanks to each and everyone of you. Thanks to the team. But first and foremost thanks to EVERY SINGLE Blue on this planet. This is for all of you. We made it!

Getting a son and FA Cup during five week period. I can die as a happy man now no matter what happens.

P.s. it seems I broke a finger celebrating this at home.

16 years here. Seems worlds away from Kinky's goal vs Southampton, staying up to read the text commentary from the playoff final, the 4-1 game over Blackburn, etc, etc.

Managed to punch a glass when Yaya scored so have my hand wrapped up too. Taken me about 10 minutes to type this.

For all the blues who came before me and all who have since, we've *finally* done it.

I perhaps shouldn't ask this, but how? And is "little Antti" ok?

HAHA

Good question.... lad was on my lap for the first 45 mins.... then took slept the second half until we scored. I asked to have boy the boy again but apparently I was "emotionally too unstaple" to have him. Thank god for mothers, eh?!?!

I punched the wall after the final whistle. Don't ask me why.

I jumped on the bandwagon circa 1973. I thought, "There's no way this huge club can fail. I want some of that glory hunting goodness!"

My choice was misguided.

I am so fucking happy tonight!

Actually Antii , your suffering has been worse than mine - at least I had the memories of when we did succeed to sustain me.

I've just been listening to 'Boys in Blue' and y'know the line in the last verse- "Maybe in another generation/When other lads have come to take our place/they'll carry on the glory of the city, leaving City in this place". And I've got tears in my eyes because singing that my whole life it seemed like a distant dream. Like something to sing out of duty and faint hope. And today, another generation really has come and taken their place and carried on the glory.

I FUCKING LOVE THIS CLUB.

Its 40 years for me as I made the choice at 7.
- saw the League Cup but didn't understand the significance.
Today I cried with relief rather than joy for all the years in between
God its been hard

17 years for me from that fateful summer of '94 when I was 12.

Well worth the wait. Big smile for me on Monday in the office (even though at most 5 people will understand the reason because they can't go further than the Inter-Milan dicothomy
