Roberto Mancini watched his Manchester City side win the FA Cup, and then declared that Carlos Tevez will not leave in the summer.

City clinched their first major piece of silverware in 35 thanks to a Yaya Toure winner in their 1-0 victory over Stoke. Mancini's men can now enjoy the summer before embarking on a maiden Champions League campaign next year.

However, the close-season is likely to be dominated by rumours surrounding star striker Tevez, who skippered his side to glory at Wembley. The morning started with Mancini telling the Argentinian he would be allowed to leave unless he was fully focused on helping the club.

Tevez expressed a desire to leave Eastlands in January, citing Italy as his ideal destination. However, following Saturday's cup win, Mancini is convinced his prized asset will stay.

Asked if Tevez still be a Manchester City player at the end of the transfer window, the Italian replied: "Yes."

He continued on Sky Sports News: "Tevez has a five-year contract staying with us. He has a five-year contract with us, he doesn't want to leave."

Didn't sound like that to me TBH. Sounded more like a bit of a non-committal answer. That said, I don't think he's going.
