Postby Nickyboy » Sun May 15, 2011 1:59 am

Was at the game so may have missed him, but just watched back the match on sky + and when they panned to the legends it was summerbee, lee, mrs young, mrs mercer and book. didn't see colin the king.

Did I miss him?

If he wasn't there is he ok?

Seeing as all the ex players live in the same house & go everywhere together, isn't it strange that those 3 were sat on their own ? Perhaps they're outcasts.

If I remember this correctly Francis Lee and Colin Bell can't get along as Bell lost his job at City when Lee was our Chairman and not talking about it beforehand. Since then they never exchanged a word again. That is probably the reason why they weren't sitting side by side .

They had a spell where they fell out for a while but I don't think it's such a big problem now. There are loads of players Bell has played with, who could have been sat with him. No reason he has to sit with those 3.

I reckon I spotted him on the Wembley 360 pic. Look for Summerbee, Lee and Book and if I remember rightly he is up to the right of the same area sat with his wife, he's wearing glasses. My Hero is King Colin, had my picture taken shaking hands with him at Platt lane a few years ago now, went back the next week and got it signed, I was like a little kid, dead chuffed! Fantastic memories of watching that guy play.

He must have been there... trawling the 360 pic following the reported sighting.

was fortunate to meet the legend many many moons ago at a family do at his restaurant in Whitefield, despite it being busy he took the time to chat with me and ask if I played and what position, got an autograph as well.. was totally starstruck and never forgot it.

There's a bloke 2nd row from the back, pretty much in the middle, glasses on, strangling a zombie woman with his left hand, looks like him.

Yep lads, that's definitely him - he'd never of missed this! Isn't it true he doesn't speak to Franny Lee over his 90s sacking? Which might explain the distance between them.

Can anybody spot Eddie Large? Surely that should be slightly easier! ;-)
