I'm a fan of Bobby and am pleased that we've won a trophy and got CL.
However, could the "pressure" return quickly from both the media and Elements of our support if we don't win the next two games, and take advantage of that third place? Not trying to destabilise but get opinions.

As far as I'm concerned it's job done for this season. Anthing else now would be a bonus.
Having said that, I'm sure some people will still find something negative to say about our club and manager.

Anything better than what we have right now is a bonus.

lets just win our next game and worry about the last one after that

we always go out to win every game ... pressure is always there to win.
We will try to take advantage of any slip ups above us, but like I said, the goal is to win every game anyway. We may see some experimentation, we may see some youngsters given game time (i hope), but we will definitely try to win. 3rd is in our grasp, and it would be great.
I do agree that getting 4th and the cup were major goals and having achieved those, the season is a success no matter what happens these last two games

Got to admit that earlier today I was thinking of Tuesday nights' game against Stoke and wondering whether to steer clear of here for 24 hours if we lost. I just hope that if we do lose, people think before posting utter tripe. It's been an unbelievable season and even 2 losses at the end of the season wouldn't put a dampner on what's been achieved
Having said all that, I'm quietly confident on finishing in 3rd place

I'm with KK
He's already met expectations and anything else now is a bonus
Absolutely no pressure at all which might work in our favour

Agree, I'm really excited to see the game on tuesday, lots of different factors going in.
- Pressure is finally off, players can express themselves
- With Arsenal losing, we can push for 3rd
- Stoke will be looking for revenge
very tasty game building up. But bobby's job is completely safe for at least a year

Personally, like many,I'm happy with what we have. However I don't want us collectively to regret maybe not at least making an effort for third.

We are a team who want to win it all, ofcourse we are going to fight tooth and nail for third!:-)
We are openly looking at the title next season and there is NO way we are ever going to see the title unless our entire team (and hopefully supporters) are just drooling over this chance to end at third instead of fourth.
I hope and think every single player and member of staff will be doing their utmost and give 150% to win the last two. Settling for fourth when we got third within our reach is the kind of mentality this club should have left behind a long time ago, and I think we have let that ghost go for good:-)
As Kidd said in his postmatch interview it is all about finding that need to take it another step, go further, higher and longer. Arsenal have been kind enough to give us CL qualification on a silver platter.
Let me put it to you this way, at the start of the season if I'd offered you CL qualification for two won games, Stoke home and Bolton away I am sure the lot of you would have bit my hand off:-) We can either win these two games or face the likes of Bayern Munchen home and away come August. I know what teams I'd prefer!

We really should get third and it would make things so much easier for ourselves. I'll still be delighted with this season but it'll be a tad disappointing should we not get third given the opportunity we now have.

Neither Mancini nor the players have anything to fear now that third place is definitely in our own hands - as said, it's a bonus if we achieve it.
So, go out there in a relaxed frame of mind and try to win both games. No need for caution.
Good luck to the players, and good luck to Roberto Mancini - in spite of some extremely dodgy periods of the season he came through for us and I'm very pleased for him because he's obviously a nice fella and most certainly resides in our corner.

It shouldn't be a bonus, it should be reality. We have a chance to avoid having to play Bayern or Lyon etc. We have a home game against a deflated Stoke and an away game against a team in free fall with nothing to play for.
We would do ourselves a massive favor here, let's not mess it up!

Roberto Mancini is way to professional a coach to take these last two games for chance. Stoke will obviously play much tougher but I see no reason why this two games can't be slam dunks.

We will get third were on a crest of a wave.
That is if Joe Hart stopped nailing that champagne at a reasonable time as on the changing room cam his head was wobbling.

But if we do mess it up, it's not the end of the world. IMO it's mission accomplished. Not just 4th and the cup but a belief that I've never experienced before. Yesterday banished the 'typical City' from my way of thinking and believe me, it's always been at the forefront of my mind when following the blues. I'm an optimist in everything except City, because I always think they can fuck things up with flying colours at any time, when you least expect it. Those two corners in injury time yesterday were torture. Yesterday put all that to bed. I've seen it and now I believe it. We're going places.
If we finish 3rd I won't be surprised. If we finish 4th because we fail to win the last two games I know it's not because of 'typical City'.....and I won't be surprised either. AND...... I couldn't give a flying fuck because I'm happy as Larry.
There is no pressure at all.
Job done. 3rd will be a nice little bonus, thanks very much.

Disagree, it will be more than a little bonus. If we finish 4th we may have to play one of Bayern, Villereal, Lyon, Benfica, Dynamo. Just as the season is starting aswel.
It could all be over before its started. We now have a fantastic chance to avoid having to go through a qualifier. We can't mess this up.

Nah mate, you need to be happy with your lot. Of course I'm aware of how tricky a qualifier can be. If we went out in the qualifier, we'd be the laughing stock. That would make us wish we'd finished 5th.
What I'm saying is, whoever the fuck they put in front of us, we will beat over two legs. All those teams you list are inferior to us. Although I'd prefer to avoid it, I don't care if we're in it. Yesterdays result and performance has made me confident in our manager and our team. We will qualify.
Also, on the plus side if we do finish 4th, we'd even get a bit of extra TV cash for those knobs at UEFA to whinge about.

Don't take anything for granted. Surely following City has taught you that. I wouldn't necessarily say we're better than Bayern. They were Champions League finalists last season, have some cracking players. Nor Lyon. Villereal would be very tricky and we got thumped by Dynamo this season. We are in pole position to get third now and should we not get it, it will be slightly disappointing.

Slightly dissapointing at missing 3rd? I totally agree. (but only slightly)
4th and the FA Cup? Happy as fuck.
3rd would be a bonus.
