Full-backs

...there arent many good ones around it seems...look at ours...Zabba, Micah, Kolarov, Bridge.....Im thinking if we do strengthen there it has to be with prem proven cos the amount of high and diagonal balls coming in takes a lot of adjusting to...I'll say now I think kolarov is better than Bridge so theres no point bringing him back. Baines? everton? again?...tbh I dont watch football in other leagues now, dont have the time, so I dont have much idea of any potential signings who might come good. so, who to bring in, if anyone, for the full back positions?

If Kolarov was less greedy his attacking work would more than make up for his occasional lack of positioning...I'm willing to give him another year. I don't see Baines being a significant improvement and the huge transfer fee that Everton will inevitably demand will put him under far more pressure than Kolarov will be in should he remain in the role.

As there isn't an obvious and realistic target (to me anyway) I would try out youth as backup to Kolarov. It worked at right back (Richards, Onuoha, Boyata, none of whom were considered natural right backs when they slotted in...let's forget Stephen Jordan though)
