Like I said in the lineup thread, I am really up for this game! Got beers and whisky ready and all. I thought this game would be more overshadowed by the FA Cup win but no, I'm just still buzzing big time and looking for more!
Come on City!!

I think they all know the significance of this game and indeed Bolton
Win these two and the media will be choking on their coffee

Come on after the FA cup match I thought they were great, please don't stoop to rag levels belittling other clubs because we've actually now won something. I love banter but that just sucks of poor timing ... sorry

It could be one of those nights when the players need the crowd to really let them know how important third is. If they feel like we are in relax-and-celebrate mode they could come out passive and play out a bore draw.

If we win the next two games, it's not beyong the bounds of possibility we could finish the season on the same number of points as Chelsea; denied second place only by their better goal difference.
That would really be something for the media to choke on.

To be fair Chinners, I've got three very very close mates who are Stoke fans.....they call us Shitty to me and I respond with Joke City
It's been going on for as long as I've known them and it is not mean spirited in the least. It just rhymes....as does Shitty

Assuming we win this match, do we expect a "home" atmosphere at the Reebook on Sunday?

I want us to win this as much as a derby v the rags. just too many positives.. keeping fighting to the very end is a great way to finish up the season... grabbing 3rd would be almost unbelievable, even possibly on level points with Chelsea. A great way to cement the achievement of CL and FA Cup Winners, a great way to end to go on hols and set up for next season to carry on in the same spirit, and of course qualification thrown in too. Did i mention sticking it to the Arse and pushing them into a qualification round ?
C'mon lads just roll with it!

No doubt that our lads must be concentrated for all the game tonight! It won't be a joke beat Stoke twice in such a few days, mates!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!
