WHAT A PLAYER! Getting stuck, putting his head in the way in a situation like that when we're 3-0 up and just entering injury time.

99,999999999999999999% of footballers these days would've cried for weeks for that. he didn't even go down on the ground. was just pissed he can't finish the match. what a lad!

Fully agree mate. Probably my favourite player out of current bunch. True cult hero. Man is a fucking monster.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Also, fullback who can actually defend. I know it's old fashioned but that's the way I like them.

I remember wishing on here that he would become our Javier Zanetti (i.e. the manager puts him in a position, doesn't matter if that's RB, LB, DM and he plays consistently). I still wish and I start to believe that Mancini sees him potentially as such a kind of player.

My fav player of our current 25-man roster, full stop (even though in need of a blood transfusion after this game)

very easy to have a number of players as our faves after the greatest season I can remember.

I want players to commit to the cause to want to play for the club, and Xabba, for me is spot on, love him.

One thing I have to add is that what a professional he is. ok this season he as featured a lot but even during the times he hasn't he has just kept on going, working hard in training (not that I've seen that with my eyes but I'm certain of it) and kept his mouth shut like they all should!

Top man. As I've said before, you can't help but love the guy, As far as I'm concerned he's in the top three with Colin Bell and the Goat.

Most improved player at the club this year for me. A red card waiting to happen and always diving in too high up the pitch has turned into a composed and calculated full back who now stands his man up and ensures he no longer gets beaten.

His versatility to play left, right or in midfield combined with his never say die attitude and true grit makes Zaba an essential member of our team nowadays. So happy for him as he comes across as such a good person.

It's not coincidence that both Zabs and Micah have improved a lot under Mancini, and it's a large part of why I'm not too concerned about Kolarov and Boateng (assuming he stays), since I'm hoping for Mancini to work his magic with them once they've settled and/or recovered.

No he was pissed because he was cut badly with 89 minutes gone and no subs. The medic wasn't going to able to patch him up in time to bring him back on so he was going to miss the rest of the game. But the doc was rushing to stitch him up anyway, he was obviously still unhappy at the amount of time it took last week to stem the bleeding.

That and he probably wasn't too pleased at the ref not even calling a free.
