Fingers and fucking toes crossed.

No player is bigger than the club but he is the best player at the club. No fucking doubt.

Lets wait until we hear from the man himself but as soon as we do and it is confirmed, then yes, we have just signed the best striker in world football... again :)

Yep just heard the brief statement, but it is now in the public domain, would love a press conference with him just doing his ugly, yet ever so enthusiastic smile to confirm it though! Let's just hope that he can really stick in old soak and berbaflops throat with a brace or hatrick whilst exorcising another of our bodies on Sunday?

Not sure how CARL will take this? LOL

Just getting that goosebumps feeling :)

Musn't get too excited yet. I can just imagine that horrible agent of his not being a happy bunny and wonder he might still have up his sleeve.

I agree the man is a worm and will now do anything to engineer a move, if this is correct.

However, Mancini told reporters after the 3-0 victory over Stoke City that Tevez now wants to remain at the club.

"He has scored 21 goals," Mancini said. "We keep saying he's an important player."

When asked if Tevez has told him he wants to stay, he added: "Yes. He told me before the cup final.

"I think that he stays next year, I don't think we can change next year because we are playing Champions League. We will have a good squad because we can buy better players."

Is this not just re-stating what Carlos himself said after the final? "I want to stay but I must think of my family, etc."

Still some twists and turns in store I think.
"Certainly our programme is a full one, but as a player and as a manager I've always felt that there is only one way to go into a season...and that's to try to win every game.... While we are in four major competitions we shall try to win four major competitions." - Joe Mercer

Really hope its true, but not getting my hopes up just yet. And the wave when he was subbed has me even more confused after what Mancini has said! But lets just hope its only a matter of time before Carlos confirms it himself.

some papers are reporting it as Mancini saying 'yes, I think he will stay'. That's not what was tweeted. I doubt we've heard the end of this yet
