was that the last time we will see him in a City shirt at eastlands?
I hope we keep him, I have loved Shauny's every kick of the ball in a City shirt, I just hope he can begin to recapture his invincibility and kick ass against defences.
SWP = LEGEND
Fuclin love you SWP

I'd think its the last time, yeah - hence him actually getting game time.
Sadly tonight showed that he probably really hasn't got the quality for where we want to be. Looked very wasteful on the ball.
Saying that, love the little fella and will miss him dearly. Hope he goes to a decent premiership side and has a bit of success.

was once a fine player, has sadly lost his pace. Hes never been good technically like Giggs or even Petrov so once his pace went he was gonna struggle.
Been a brilliant player over the years.

If it doesn't sound silly, I think he was trying too hard tonight to make things work, but a great servant to our beloved club.

I'm with this. Showed some great bits tonight followed by not quite getting the last bit right but you know you will get 100% from him at all times. When you have to put a squad together of 25 players we need the SWP's of this world ( homegrown) who will play the squad player role.

Disagree - he was shocking tonight apart from a 180 degree turn and then did what he always does.....lose the ball.

I would love for your sentiment to be on the money bro, but I get the feeling he is done. Not even a shade on the player he once was.

His best days are behind him i'm afraid to say n if we are to push onwards n upwards i dont think theres room for sentiment, he's been top class but still dropped us when chelski came calling then came running back when it didnt work out. He didnt think about it too long when we were a mid table team, unfortunate as it is its time to say goodbye

And he lost the ball after that by running into a load of Stoke players. He won't be here next season

Think he'll be gone in the summer and think he knows it too,but a great servant, could see he really wanted to sign off with a goal when we got that free late on. but best of luck to him if he does go and hope it works out for him

I think SWP is a confidence player. If he can get it back here is debatable. That imho is why he never made it at Chelsea. I really believe he has what it takes, but being a big fish in a small pond is what gives him the confidence to succeed. Don't think it'll happen here, which saddens me

I will miss or do miss those deep crosses :( the lad has been a great servant to the club, his only mistake was to bench warm at Chelski. That at the time was possibly not all his doing, remember we could do with the cash back then!?!?! Anyway IF he does go, I wish him all the best, so much more than any player to leave since I can't remember. One that will always get a great reception every time he comes back.
OK you say no time for sentiment, but we need to respect him for what he has done during both spells for us, I would love him to stay another season or two but reality is he is a football who has a few years yet and I would rather see him get game time elsewhere, where? I am not sure, maybe Fulham?
