Whilst I think the OP may be a wee bit wide of the mark I believe you also are missing his point, Milner may be better going forward but primarily that's not Gaz Baz's raison d'etre. He's there to keep things tight with the Pitbull, to make it doubly difficult for teams to play through us. Also - not sure if its true but gonna go with it - if the Opta stats validate that we are a better team with him in then so be it, who's to disagree with facts?

I hope that's tonque in cheek mate. Opta stats are so often so wide of what really happens in pitch it's ridiculous.
