Yes after beating Stoke to virtually clinch 3rd place we can no longer be regarded as the team that always shoots itself in the foot....cups for cockups etc.The club has at last shaken off that acursed monika, the sky is the limit now and I am officially upbeat and wonderously happy.

do we not still have scope to cock this up?? are you not a bit prematurely euphoric?
in all seriousness though, I don't expect us to nause this up now...and that is a VERY strange kind of feeling to have
I am also very very happy that our most gloomy of posters is actually, genuinely, bona fide content....that's a pretty awesome state of affairs!

I'd say it's 50/50 at the moment. Or at best 60/40.
We could lose at Bolton and it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that Arsenal beat Fulham. Or draw and we lose. 2 draws would make us nervous!

I have never bought into "typical City". We were just shite and couldn't hold onto leads. Simple as that.

I think if crossan is feeling optimistic, that signals the end of it for me.

I thought you were going to be celebrating next years title win
But I think you're right, what an amazing feeling to be watching a critical game and not be filling your rompers in fear

1 more game. However the phrase "typical Arsenal" may have been born this season.

Its all down to years of disappointment, that just when you thought they were going to finally win something it was snatched away sometimes by shooting ourselves in the foot,I now admit that my scepticism has finally gone and it went when the final whistle was blown on saturday and we won the cup,I was in shock,I could not believe it.
Roberto Mancini has done a brilliant job to win us silverware and to have us in the Champions league group stages ( hopefully) next season, the owners have been true and have backed the manager 100% and now its time for Manchester City to acheive what so long has eluded us,great times, great times,I bow to all of you who unlike me have kept the faith.
