That lad will be fired up on Sunday. Apparently he's been bagging em big time. To those that have watched him this season what have we missed out on? Has he improved and what should we be wary of.

he's pretty lethal when the oppurtunity comes his way - can also conjure goals out of nothing - doesn't contribute much otherwise much like he didn't with us

He's still a mouthy money-grabing cunt who thinks he should be in the Barca team before Messi ...... he's been very good at Bolton this season mind, I hope he misses a sitter and gets taken off

Important thing is to knock a few in at the other end, so it doesn't matter.

It will matter to Joe Hart and he will keep the boys fully aware of that for the 90. While Sturridge is good he isn't that good that they won't see to him, plus he will need the service in the first place.

I feel he will be our undoing, City often concede due to ex players... Distin, Dunne etc.

Good player and always was but a ridiculous idea of what he was worth. If we turn up and play at Bolton we will win.

Before being destroyed by Stoke they were the best side to watch in the league for me. Sturridge was a big part of that.

Thankfully their season's petered out somewhat. Not exactly true that they have nothing to play for though; depending on results they could finish anywhere between eighth and fourteenth. Sure their board would be keen to pocket the extra 3 million or however much that'd bring in.

Ha ha, I should have said that but i'm far too old school city to not be a pessimist.

Here is the revised edition;

sandman wrote:I expect he wont be our undoing, City are born Winners we often used to concede due to ex players... Distin, Dunne etc. but now we're going to batter everyone in England, Europe and then the World... I think it was Malcolm Allison who once said that we'll be the first team to play on Mars!! CTID

Not worried about him. Ever since he left City he has been shite whenever he played against us.

That's pretty much. Contributes squreroot of fuck all to overall play but when chances fall to him, and they've been falling to him recently, he is sure to put them away.

I'm not sure that in modern game top teams can afford players who just score goals.

One that got away imo. Has brilliant ability, scored more than Mario and Dzeko this season. He's a twat though but a brilliant player.

Aye. With Tevez fit again and after the goalen boot, I suspect that Sturridge won't be the only one who's fired up.
