This was raised in another topic. Which one do you dream of? Which one do you rate more and put more emphasis on?

I always see domestic league as main competition for ANY team playing football. CL for me is something extra and while of course important competition I'd always take League title over Champion's League win.

I'm interested to hear what the majority think though. Is CL uberclub competition which should be our main target or do you prefer domestic competition.

P.s. in this poll I don't give a shit what owners want. I want to hear what YOU as an individual think.
P.p.s. anyone thinking I'm on a wind up or trying to prove a point. I'm not. I'm genuinely curious.

seriously though, league title for me - CL is icing.

we do need to be careful we don't get ahead of ourselves though, not that long ago that i'd have been happy with "top half and quarter final in a cup".

in fact, not that long since i was very happy with division three play offs!

I know EXACTLY what you are saying mate. I'll be over the moon for FA cup for years no matter what happens.

Although I'd love us to win the Prem (Love It!), I'm plumping for Champions League just so I can say we're better than Barcelona ;-)

League for me..it would be the most surreal experience of my life !

Me and my brother have a bottle of cheap benidorm wine with the old city badge on it that he brought home with him in 1999. We decided at the time we would drink it the day we won the premier league title. Was a pipe dream at the time!!

I can't wait to taste how minggin' that wine is gonna be!!

Voted for CL because to me CL is best in Europe and PL is best in England. Still... I'd prob be just as glad for winning the PL as I would winning the CL.

So the vote is cast purely because I think it is more difficult to win the CL. As for what I'd rate the most? Hell, we are City supporters, we rate anything that has a trophy!:P

I have voted without having read the other responses I have voted the league, as I I would have done 25 years ago before the Euro cronies invented the CL as a money spinner for the their own needs ala multi billions in tv rights, a bye product of which of which was new found wealth for the likes of the rags. This in turn gave certain spending power via obscene dividends and exposure to the so called "elite", something that gave such clubs greater spending power than clubs only a few places below them in their respective leagues. At that point turning said clubs in to so called power houses, power with new found wealth?

Admittedly, some like the Scousers and Italians/Spanish teams had a full on pedigree in Europe?

I guess what I am saying is (PWP) is that, UEFA have devalued to a certain extent each domestic league by whoaring the tv rights for their own financial gain?

The thing is now that, the great Sheik has catapulted our beloved team in a position of gate crashers, that others (mainly media) don't like.

Whilst anyone under the age 30 will see the CL as being the pinnacle of achievement born by the media franchise that UEFA created and now want reign in.

Would definately rather win the league, but although I would not complain about CL without the league, that would feel a little hollow to me as I always think of the European Cup as something to go for after winning the league.

dont think mancini will ever win CL!

PL title for me - feel like that's the next step in our development as a club. once we get that, then we can start looking at a CL trophy.

Chumps league is the ultimate.

premier league has to be next target, although any domestic league can be tougher than the CL. Get an easyish group, favourable draw (shalke) and a bit of luck and you can go far in the CL. Bad luck and you might not make it to the group stage.
For the league, you need to be the best for the full season. Might mean grinding out results, but the best team never loses the league, as they can any individual cup game

I voted for the Premiership title; you dominate your own back yard before finding glory in foreign fields.
