I'm sure the reason we had to stop using it in the first place is because Umbro had the rights to the design? Perhaps someone could clarify?
Personally I prefer the old badge too..the three ornamental stars leaves us open to ridicule IMO

I love all the old school stuff but wish they would do some in womens sizes. I would love a Mercer jacket in a size 10 but no it's a small mens only which is far too big. I'm going to write to the club and ask. I may even add a comment about football boules, not seen one chick yet take a kick......:-)

Not certain but I think the badge may have been one of the many things sold off by that wanker Swales so we would have had to give the owner a percentage of all our mechandising if we'd used it. Did Franny not have the new one designed for that reason ?

That polo has my name on it.
I'm such a sucker for these retro stuff with old badge though. I got so much City clothing it's not even funny for grown man.

Excellent stuff...however, how come the diamonds on the sky blue (or vista blue as they call it) ringer t-shirt have a navy background? that blue top would look absolute class if it was all sky blue, proper late 70's early 80's.

Love the trackie top. Now if they'd just do some official retro replica shirts (such as 1977 away and 1981 cup final) i'd be a very happy man.
