So we finished joint second.....gets even better.

What a season, the best in my lifetime, I will savour this for a longtime. Automatic group stage is a HUGE blessing for us. And to think there were large periods of the season when we were mediocre. Our recent form had been stunning.

Not really, we outplayed them at their place and deserved the win. If we had won 2-1 instead of the other way round would have only been 3 points. We'll be with them all the way next year, baconface beware.

18 last year so we've halved it and on that basis we'll be right with them next season.

Sorry to differ from all this but I think the thread title should read "Chelsea have finished the season on the same points as us".

We're a far better club, with far better fans than Chelsea could ever aspire to be, or have and there's no stopping us now.

In my view we are at least 12 and maybe 24 months ahead of schedule, well done bobby, well done the lads, best season I can remember!

Last season we finished 5th, now 3. If the mathematic thing works guess who is going to win the league next year.

Although we finished 9 points behind the Scum, we also finished 9 points ahead of The Twitchermen in 5th place.

What a difference the last twelve months have made......here's to the next twelve.
