In line with character..

CARLOS TEVEZ is on a fresh collision course with Roberto Mancini after deciding to snub Manchester City’s FA Cup parade.

City’s squad will show off the trophy to fans lining the streets of Manchester today.

But the striker will be boarding a plane to Argentina to see his family instead.

The decision has left Mancini fuming and he is set to hit his skipper in the pocket with a £200,000 fine.

Tevez’s latest snub is fresh evidence that he intends to quit Eastlands in the summer.

The duo fell out earlier this season when Tevez threatened to quit, while City’s top brass were unhappy last month when he travelled to Milan for treatment instead of attending his side’s FA Cup semi-final win

I'm still not sure I believe it, but if this is what he decides then he's done.

Really a slap in the face to the fans and club if this is how he operates. I'll withhold judgement until this actually happens but I hope it's bullshit.

Cheers.

D'yer know, I couldn't give a flying fuck if Carlos is on the open top bus, at the airport or in the bogs near Albert Square having a shit. For 30 plus years, I have waiting patiently for City to win a pot again and I am sure as fuck determined to enjoy every last fuclin drop of celebrating it. 2 goals, 20 goals, or even 2 fuclin hundered goals, I don't give a stuff.

Carlos mate...We are going to have one hell of a fucling party tomorrow. Whatever happens, I am going to enjoy it. If you don't want to be there, fine mate. It's your loss and you who is missing out. Persanally, I have waited for far too long to let you, Joorabchian of any other fucker spoil it for me.

Bye bye Carlos, have a great summer, thanks for all you have done for us, it was great while it lasted. If you come back next season, you're welcome, if not I will be cheering the fuck for the next guy who leads our attack.

What If he was wrecking yr cab up in the townley car park, would you care then?

Regardless, I think yr point is dead straight John. Dunno why he'd want to miss this, but the day is about the fans, the club and the team not carlitos.

Cheers

Don't be too quick to pass judgement. Heard it from the commentators during the Bolton game that his flight back home was booked way before the Parade date was fixed. I'll still keep an open mind on whether he is staying or going yet.

Sure, the cancellation fees would be terrible for the lad I'm sure

@ Doomie,
If the young Carlos was wiping my cab out in the Townley car park mate....I wouldn't know about it. I would be far too busy Poznanning (present participle of the verb...to Poznan) or would already have Poznanned, to bother my little mind about it.

Ignorance is bliss Mate....and I am very blissful...erm!

He made an excellent contribution to our season and finished as joint top scorer. If he would rather spend time back in Argentina with his family than come to a party, then I respect his choice as long as he puts the effort on the field. A bit of a mercenary, but any of our other players whose families were on another continent would probably feel the same.

Tevez told to put Argentina flight on hold and celebrate Man City's FA Cup triumph
By Sportsmail Reporter
Last updated at 12:19 AM on 23rd May 2011

Manchester City have told captain Carlos Tevez that he must attend Monday's FA Cup parade or face a heavy fine.

Tevez, 27, has booked a flight home to Argentina for this afternoon as he is keen to spend time in South America with his young daughters.
Going nowhere: Tevez has been ordered to stay for the club's FA Cup parade
But it is understood that the Argentine, in common with his team-mates, has received written confirmation from City that he is contractually obliged to attend the celebrations.

Vice-captain Vincent Kompany is missing a Belgium training camp to be at the parade.

I know it`s the mail!!

BBC's Dan Roan on Twitter

Reliably informed Mario Balotelli has flown home to Italy after being dropped v Bolton and will miss City parade tonight

The media never miss a chance to stir the pot do they. If Balotelli is there tonight Im going to point out his source is pretty bad.

Im assuming the Dog is still going - if he isn't he will be pissed off after having his hopes raised. Maybe we can top Sergio Ramos's Cup dropping moment by having a dog chew the lid of the FA Cup?

No sign of Carlos at Terminal 1, but I did just walk past Dean Whitehead and gave him what I decided shortly after was a "Alright Dean, I know you, and you lost in the final to my team" kind of grin.

I know what it's like travelling a lot to be with different members of your family, and when I'm away from home I make sure I do the most important things and often have to make sacrifices. He scored the most goals in our team and the league, we had a super successful season and he lifted the FA Cup. Unfortunately, like myself, he is going to miss the parade for personal reasons but he was there when it mattered.

Even if he goes he has contributed so much that I wouldn't hold a grudge. I don't think this is the final straw or the big sign that he is leaving.

Is anyone shocked by this? You can see his smile from the distance. I am telling you he is staying (despite my earlier comment since it was untruly stated), and the papers should just have their fun.

I just had to be here... Tevez performs dramatic U-turn to appear at City's historic FA Cup parade

Carlos Tevez handed Manchester City fans a huge boost this evening by arriving with his team-mates to celebrate at the club's historic FA Cup victory parade.

City officials feared Tevez had booked a flight home to Argentina and would miss the event and so informed their talismanic striker he had to attend or face a heavy fine.

But ahead of the city-centre bash, Tevez dismissed claims he was considering flying back to South America.

Speaking exclusively to Sportsmail, he said: 'In my mind, there was never a question as to whether I would be there. I'm sure it will be a fantastic event.

'It will be a great day for Sheikh Mansoor, who has given so much to the club - but also for the fans who have waiting so long and so patiently as well as the players who have given their all to make this possible.

'No one had to persuade me because I simply wouldnt have missed this event.'

Only one senior player was believed to be missing from the event, Italian striker Mario Balotelli is expected to be absent from the parade which travels from Albert Square to the City of Manchester stadium.
