Andy Gray, has just tipped us to win the title next season , I almost spat my coffee out. We are sure to put in a strong challenge though. Happy days.

Let's hope we'll be taking a bow at the end of the season then.

hmm, that doesn't bode well if he's saying it. Did he say 'luv' and pat some office girl on the arse whilst he was making that prediction?

Ah I forgot he's spouting his nonsense on TalkShyte nowadays ... I fully expect Alan 'cunt' Green to tip us by the end of June

He wouldn't be allowed to do that if he was still working for Sky.

He was the same last season, very complementary about us and tipped us to make in-roads into the Top 4, which surprised me. The man's not daft, anyone with half a footballing background would know that a club in our position will eventually come good, it's a no-brainer and only the likes of Hansen et al will dig their heels in and try to demean what we have achieved so far.

These pundits have absolutely no shame. The same people that said no one would sign for us, you cant buy success and city would never win anything are now queuing up to appear wise and tip us for the league. For the record i said we would be winning it next year too. I found it odd last summer that so many people on here, and pundits, said we'd be hard put to better our fifth place. Bizarre

Andy Gray has always been positive about us, plus his analysis are usually pretty good. I like him :p.
Though, admittedly, I don't listen to anything he says on TS, as I don't usually go on there.

Yea I agree, never liked him much on Sky but I have to admit since he has been on Talksport he is better and I find my self agreeing with him a lot.

I think his analysis is very good but if you work for Sky & the subject of the title comes up, it's in the contract you have to tip Manyoo, the old Big 4 or anything with Harry Redknapp in it.

Any pundit who bothered to do even a little bit of research would know what we are about and where we are heading. The trouble is most of 'em (especially MOTD) are lazy and just regurgitate what they read in the red tops. Put money (and a little time) into the team it will get better, take money out it will get worse, it's not rocket science. Having said all that I allways had Gray down as the sort that just repeats what he's read in the paper, maybe he's got more time to actually watch what teams are doing these days.
I dunno if we will actually win the prem next season, but I think we'll get bloody close to it if we don't.

When he isnt talking about the scum he is a very knowledgable guy. Talks mainly sense.
On the subject of the rags though he is fucking unbearable. From a neutral's point of view his admiration of them would be justified but there is no such thing as a neutral when it comes to the scum.
The few times i have heard allardyce commentate i liked him aswell. He is perfect for us because he just cums in his longjohns at our defensive set up/everything kompany does.

I think we'll be better placed to challenge for it. When you consider the lack of a proper pre season due to the number of new faces that had to integrate into the squad and the almost Benitez like tinkering (especailly with the back 4) we've done bloody well this season. We've also been a lot stronger at the business end and won games that we've had to to secure a trophy and 3rd. That monkey is off our back now and i doubt if we'd roll over like we did at Anfield (5 days before a semi final) and drop some of the silly points that we did earlier on in the season (Blackburn h, Birmingham h, U*d h) if we played the same games now. 9 points really isn't that big of a gap when you consider we only took 1 point from the Derbies. Take 4 points off them and give us 6 and then look at the table. We're not that far off, even if we don't sign anybody else.

I've never had an issue with Andy Gray and have never really understood the hatred of him from some on here.
I've always found him fair and without any particular agenda.

I liked him on Sky Sports too. I dunno, he just seemed very knowledgeable and his analysises where usually pretty spot on.

Same here. I think, especially on MNF where he was showing clips and used his arrows, circles and shit, he showed great insight. Never had any issue with him and he actually seemed to be very positive about Man City, similar to Jamie Redknapp, who is always talking us up.

TalkSHITE talk absolute shite. Why should we think otherwise just because they're saying something we want to hear?
This simple fact is, they're jumping on the bandwaggon along with everyone else.
Like was said above, it was always a no-brainer that we'd come good. It's just that everyone in the media refused to accept it and tried their hardest to make sure it didn't happen.

We just hate anyone who has ever said a bad word about us don't we?
On the same note, as much stick as Lawro gets on here, he'd actually predicted us to get 10 points more than we did this season. Position-wise, he wasn't too far out on anyone (although his points predictions, particularly at the bottom are a bit wayward)

I would say that even if we only were to sign two quality players in the off-season, we'll make a serious challenge; and perhaps could even lead for most of the season.

So we'll smash it?
