Anyone know was his absence, at the parade, with or without permission?

Well if he got permission to miss it it's going to cause a bit of friction imo.

He wanted to be there and even laid on plans for his family to be there........apparently something came up that he had to go to Italy.....nothing sinister.....and nothing for us to worry about either apparently.

It doesn't matter if he didn't show up to the parade. The only thing that matters is that he showed up to the final and helped us win the thing.

He's been picked to be in the Italy squad, is it anything to do with that?

Probably not, like as not he thought that going off to pick mushrooms was a better use of his time

It's all above board, he had a game of darts to attend in Italy.

So who is watching Lucky? Surely having just cleared quarantine he could not go back to Italy.

If anyone on here believes ANY of the shit they will be trying to get people to buy into re Mario missing last night then they are a total cunt....fact

I actually think last night would have been right up Mario's street and that there must be a genuine reason for him missing it.

The fact is that we're just going to have to get used to news about club being reported in the worst possible light in some quarters.

On Talk Sport this morning Mario is a "spoilt brat" who has "snubbed city" leaving club official "furious"......I'd like to say it comes with the territory (success and spending) but I don't recall news on other clubs having such a negative spin applied to it on such a widespread and consistent basis.

Did Shay Given get the same treatmeant as he also failed to attend or is he exempt as he is a family guy and does a lot of work for charity??

To be fair to Given, he didn't participate in either the League or FA Cup campaign ....

They tried to make a story out of Tevez, first that he wasnt going to be there, then that he'd been ORDERED to be there - when they got direct quotes from the man himself that he never had any intention of missing it since it was a night for the fans they moved on to Balotelli.
