He's just posted a pic on his Instagram from the day he signed holding up his City shirt with the caption "6 years after signing, happy and proud to be part of this club."

Could have swore he's been here longer than six years.

Love ya Serg.

Had a mint debut as well. Can't remember being as excited since by a performance on debut as Kun's v Swansea

So, have the media finished with their bullshit stories or is he still off to Chelsea/Arsenal/anyothercuntingteam?

Only when we've a game against them. Misguidedly hoping it will upset the apple cart. Cretins

Yep, never understood why Aguero gets the hype he does. If we're replacing Carlos with like for like, I'd prefer Lavezzi. Neither are near Tevez' level though.

There's some fantastic comments in this thread mind.

Fucking hell Mase, I don't get that at all! We all loved Carlos, in a a way, but surely they weren't questioning Sergio?

The bloke has integrity amass, and he was known as a great striker before he joined, how could he fail?

Not my first option for a striker, but still, huge talent.

I love these old threads :D

Whoops! A small part of an old thread. A shame I was away at the time and missed so much.

Some mint posts in this one...hah!

A true legend who everyone thought would leave us and instead has cemented himself as an all time great PL striker (at a minimum).

Who, Doomie or Sergio ;-)

He has created his own status, not through our tinted lenses. There's a few who have changed our future, and the way our club has been perceived, Sergio is in the top 3 for me, together with Roberto Mancini and Dave Silva, but there's many more to mention.

It is not just the media. There are plenty of people on here who seem to think he's going if we buy Sanchez! Or during last season people were saying Aguero would be leaving following Jesus' bright start for us.

We need at least 3 top class strikers and 1 of them must be the player who scores around 30 goals every season for us!
