There are two sites that really piss me off when looking for news on my beloveds, usually appearing on Newsnow with any scrap of sensationalised bollox.

One is a general football site that makes the Sunday sport look like the BBC, the other is a city website, that churns out the most annoying immature self agrandising city shite imaginable.

I will name them later as I want to see if it's just me being vic meldrew.....

So, my question, which websites do you hate most for city news?

I suppose in keeping with the current positive feelings you can add the most loved if you have to

I like newsnow, as it gathers lots of information in one place. I do, however, avoid certain websites, going as far as to hide them on newsnow. The main culprit I find to be tribalfootball. It makes Chinner's Bollox look like well educated journalistic pieces of art.
I also avoid things like Daily Mall and Star and the Sun, unless I want to read gossip like Giggs banging Imogen Thomas.

Other than that, I read the articles with interesting headlines and make my own judgement on that. Usually I scoff though.

I don't really use SkySports any more. It publishes a lot of rumours and also tries to turn a 1-line interview into a HUGE story. I don't think I've ever been on Newsnow or Tribal Football.

I only really use the BBC website, the official City website and here, and sometimes the Times' websites.

All the tabloid paper websites just publish rubbish so it could be any of them that you hate.

I hate all sites, all papers all TV shows, all journalists.

Every single one of them at some point has mentioned, bad mouthed, been flippant about or failed to mention City.

Not exactly a site, but a paper - I've been reading the 'i' since it came out some months ago but it's finally started to pee me off. It used to be balanced and generally well written but slowly James Lawton has been showing undisguised bias and today Ian Herbert has done a piece on Balotelli that's short on fact and big on conjecture and assumption and seems to be based on other tabloid shite in the first place.

tribalfootball really are a bunch of cocks, the shite that comes of that site is unbelievable.

Not the Ian Herbert one - not sure about Lawton's, I tend to avoid his articles these days.

Yeah, I mentioned Tribal Football as well. They were the first site I blocked on NewsNow, as I felt I was getting dumber reading the garbage they put on that website. I believe it's Aussie based, so any Aussie blues should locate them and kick them in the head.

As for Vital Man City, I don't ready any of them. All of them must be pretty shite.

As said, I usually ignore most of the stuff posted on Newsnow, as it is just repeats of crap other websites posted, however, the many Man City blogs are often mentioned in there, plus there's articles like http://www.footballfancast.com/2011/05/ ... ester-city that can be found in there as well, which is why I like newsnow.
