Benzema - Adebayor

Warning! This is completely speculative topic with no basis on anything that actually happens.

The more I think about it the more it makes sense to me. Benzema had a breakthrough this past season but doesn't seem to be one of Jose's favourites for whatever reasons. Also, Real are packed with fowrwards and if they are looking to add Adebayor, very similar player, I feel it would make sense to throw some money in there and get Benzema in.

I really rate Benzema as the best young natural centerforward out there.

Approximately as accurate as 90% of the newspaper stories about us then?

Not convinced by him yet although rubbing Fergiscum's big red nose in it would be funny admittedly

All hinges round Carlos. Much of our summer shopping does.

Not just because of money and squad numbers but because of style of play. Carlos is one off and we need to know asap whether we are building our team with him or without him.

I do like Benzema, though.

I can see loads of potential but he's 23 & should really have nailed his place at Madrid & not be in danger from City's 4th choice striker. He's performed at a much lower standard than expected. I'd have no problem bringing him in as a swap, to see if he has what it takes, (I think he lacks personality & effort at the moment) but he would soon get pissed off sitting on the bench at City & that's where he'd have to be, unless he made an immediate impact.

I think we should stop fucking about & go all out to get Aguero. His goalscoring rate has gone up recently & he has all the attributes to succeed in the Prem, plus he has some of Tevez' attributes too, so we wouldn't miss Carlos as much when injured or if he fucks off. Aguero would soon form a link with Tevez if he stays, so we could play both, alternate them, mix it up with Balo & Dzeko etc.

Played really well towards the end of the season. Be surprised if Madrid want to sell him

I think by the end of this week we will have it confirmed by Tevez as to whats happening so we can build our team round his decision. Would be happy with Ade out and Benzema in though no matter what happens.

Benzema for Tevez and maybe another player?
That will do me.

Benzema has basically flopped at Real, despite the odd flash. Although he seems inexplicably to be an English media-hyped player, he isn't for the Spanish press and the fans don't like him. I can imagine the hate threads already - I might start one myself.

I think we are at the stage where we want to buy players who have succeeded elsewhere, not failed.

Not really. We've 3 strikers: Ronaldo, Higuaín and Benzema. 2 start every game, sometimes Mourinho likes to play with 3. If one get injured we don't have any back up forwards so Mourinho sometimes changes the formation to 451 with 3 dms. He bought back Callejón I suspect he will use him as back up for di María on the right, but we are still short on strikers. The kids at Castilla are ready but he won't give them a chance, he even wanted to buy Hugo Almeyda or whatever is his name but Valdano blocked the transfer. Now with Valdano gone we'd be loaded with shite like Altintop in no time and have another Eto'o/Mata/Cambiasso/insert name situation.

For the same reason he won't go anywhere. For me there isn't anybody better than him.

If they end up buying Ade off us, ill give it 6 months before he moans about being on the bench and asks for a transfer.

He's abit of a prick really isnt he? Not getting a game with us, so moves to one of the best teams in the world, gets very few games, potentially moves there, and nothings actually changed for him. Still on the bench.

I've been told very reliably one of Benzema or Kaka will be sold. Not both.

Believe what you will but there will be at least one major exit from madrid this summer.

Nice thought but better still would be offering swp, ade, boateng, kolarov, roque santa cruz, jo and caicedo to barca for messi. You never know, they might even consider it (well, for a couple of moments at least).

I rate Adebayor, but even more Bellamy... really miss his pace and style.
Bellers is twice the player Balotelli is, any chance we can se him at our club again u think?

Did it cross your mind that Bellamy is twice the age Balotelli is as well?

He hasn't flopped at all.
He's scored 28 goals in 46 appearances i think it is this season.
Just that Mourinho doesn't rate him for some reason?
I think he'[s an Arsenal type player, be good there.
