Key is to win the midfield battle against Xavi and Iniesta. Also, need to use width and challenge their fullbacks.

Not easy task, mind. This is quite possibly the best Club side since AC Milan of late-80's.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

At the moment we can't beat them, but they can't beat us on Eastlands. If we were here tonight, instead of scum, maybe a 0-1 or extra time. Bob prepared great games when he didn't need to attack.

Slight tweak to our 4-3-3 - keep the two wide players a little deeper and have them drop back to midfield in defence, let Barca have it in their own half but keep men behind the ball in our half and throw bodies in numbers at whoever has it - keep the tempo as fast as possible and look to frustrate them by smothering them basically, keeping them out of their comfort zone.

I've given this more thought now, we'll need to sign either Xavi or Iniesta from them. Do whatever it takes to get either of them. Preferably Xavi.

Realistically, we don't. It will take years for us to reach to their level and/or wait for their current generation to fade.

Barcelona's main thing is the relation created between the players. They can make a triangle with the ball with their eyes closed, but however, Shakira is the only decent central back they have. Adriano is shite, Mascherano is beyond shite and there is the hole in their squad. A duo with Tevez and Balo at their maximum and with Silva beside them, can exploit that weakness.

But sure, this is only on paper. They could have 3 up untill we find that gap in their back.

Obviously not mate, otherwise they'd be there instead; or should they be? And the reason I say that is because I am of the opinion that Arsenal should've won that game and if not for an absolute travesty in vP getting sent off for a near exact situation that happened tonight, then Wenger would've triumphed.

We have all suspected that FIFA were corrupt but that was the point where I realised UEFA was just the same.

Listen..... this is a sport, that means the best team dosn't necessarily win. It's who performs best on the day. We could beat Barca!!
United where the best team in England this year, the league table shows that. We still beat them in the cup!
