I'm not surprised. I don't understand the significance of the large red cross on white background.

I'm not sure if that's it. It has the same design as the keeper away kit that came out. I don't think Umbro would take an away keeper design and make it our home kit??

Somebody was probably just having fun with Photoshop. I hope...

That's not the home kit, its the same as the GK top on the OS, someone's just Photoshopped it.

I'd wear it if somone bought it for me. I've got no taste in clothes though. Normally just wear black so I don't have to combine anything. Probably why the rags' fans do it; in order not to look stupid.

It could possibly be it, its same template as Ireland outfield one and i actually quite like it. Have to say though i hate "template" jerseys, surely they can come up with different designs for each club they have cant be that hard?

I can't believe it's taken this long for someone to point it out. ;)

Or the ireland outfield jersey?which is umbro's new template for outfield jerseys so its not the most unlikeliest scenario that its the new home jersey.

What is definately true is that City are taking the piss with all these kit changes, currently averaging at least 2 (home and away) every season. This is something we used to berate others for but we are now no different - that said I will exercise my own right to not buy it, just as I have over the last 7 or 8 years.

I'd be really surprised if we'd allowed that to happen. I thought we signed up to Umbro because they'd agreed we would be a flagship/prestige club for them, meaning no template shirts. If we've become a run-of-the-mill club for them, then our business plan/negotiating tactics obviously aren't what we took them to be.

I know you're not alone in feeling like that mate

BUT

I have to say that I love the excitement of the new kits, I often buy them and i'd be a bit peeved if we had to keep them all for a couple of seasons. I equally don't think I'm alone in that

Spoken like a guy who doesnt have kids who want the latest kit all the time, which at £30-£40 quid a pop isnt cheap.

Im an old fat bastard so stopped buying kits yonks ago, but for Blues with young kids who want the latest kit all the time, its really starting to take the piss. This and the £50 pemium on the Platinum tickets is starting to add up.

I know it was...but what do you want me to do, I don't have kids yet. Maybe I'll feel differently when I do.

However, mate, I'm not being funny but when I was a kid I can remember wanting the latest kits, and the latest star wars toys, or the latest bmx.....I very rarely got them. Just because kids want stuff doesn't automatically mean that they have to be given it.
