However in August a division lower they should have gone for Di Matteo. Continue playing in the clubs mold cos they certainly aren't coming straight back up.

I reckon Dave Jones could have done a decent job at West Ham.

Also ensures West Ham will be in the play-offs at worst, and given the financial malaise the club is in they need to get back up asap, with a manager used to working on a shoestring - Allardyce is that man.

Walmai - I understand your pain, but as West Ham have been shite for the past 2 years the club has forfeited its right to be football snobs and play the beautiful game all the time. Clearly you havent been doing that for a while. Use Allardyce to get back up, then get some decent money in and change manager and (hopefully) owners then. Championship football is a pain in the arse anyway, you might as well enjoy winning a few games which Im sure under Allardyce you will.

Awww i was hoping to ear him commentate on a few of our games next season. A good manager (for west ham) for a good club (shit team/owners). He will have them up in no time.

i really think they should have made a run at the Tafia...Sparky could make that a top 10 Prem team within 3 seasons with better than average but not extravagant spending. i believe that.
