Rags held a big parade, guess what, nobody came

But the camera never lies you cunts, we saw it all on Sky
The BBC and GMP, they didnt make things up,
They said the streets were far more packed, when city won the cup

So take your lies and shove them where the sun wont shine again
It was the day of your parade, fuck you nobody came
So hail the day forever, its proven to be true,
That Trafford is for tourists, but MANCHESTER IS BLUE

Incidentally, anyone else started using their parade as a description to illustrate a disappointing outcome or lack of people etc ?

I've got several in today, eg, bit of work cancelled late in the day: 'bigger let down than Utd's homecoming' , not many in the pub: 'quieter than the rag's parade in here' etc etc. There are more different ways to use it than there were people at the event.

I think everyone should start using it so it becomes part of the language.
