Hamsik, Modric, Sneijder or Xavi?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Hamsik, Modric, Sneijder or Xavi?

Postby dazby » Thu Jun 02, 2011 12:58 pm

Whom would you prefer to wear the sky blue next season?

Sneijder for me.

The first one is sooo overrated. Sneijder for me aswell. But if Xavi was a little younger...

yeah, I've watched Hamsik about 3 or 4 times and every time I've been unimpressed with his effort. He can spot a pass if you give him plenty of time and can score a goal if given plenty of time. I think he is a, serie a player.

i know..i can't even believe there's a second place vote in this contest. It's Xavi all day long. Modric can't even sniff his pantleg, and Sneijder is more of a goalscorer than a creator. He's classy as fuck and i'd love him, but Xavi is one of the best players in the world and he still has a couple seasons at that level. And don't ask me how we would play with Silva and Xavi together. Please.

cheers

Sneijder is younger, scores goals and creates. 2 seasons of class from xavi vs 7 fron Sneijder. No contest.

Hamsik shouldn't even be mentioned in the same terms as Xavi or Sneijnder. Modric is ok but fails to dominate enough games.

Xavi and Sneijnder are very different players. In terms of ability, Xavi is the classier and works twice as hard as Sneijnder. The question is a poor one but Xavi is by far the best footballer here but perhaps Snejnder is more what we need.

Xavi and Iniesta together would do quite nicely, thank you very much.

I would go for Sneijder myself. If we were to adopt a Barcelona-esque style, then Xavi, as I consider him the superior player. However, I really do not have any sense how effective he would be outside of that style. Sneijder looks like he would adapt to the Premiership quickly.

I missed that first time as I skip most of Dazby's posts. This confirms why.

Typical dazby: 'Look at me, I'm being different'. 'Admittedly, I'm having to make a total cunt of myself to do it, but I'm different all the same'.

This post encapsulates what's he's all about: Fuck substance, I'd rather be seen as unusual.

What a berk.

This isn't half as much fun as when we were discussing the merits of Corradi, Dabo and Samaras

I dont come on this forum often, but EVERY single time I do, i see this 'plonker' typing utter utter garbage. Either i 'dont get it' or you are being deadly serious with all your posts. If you are, im embarrased your a city fan. Claiming Tevez is no good and you were dissapointed he had his hands on the FA CUP to saying Xavi has had only 2 seasons of class.

You need a job on talkshite. I can have words if it helps. Jesus wept!
