Two dads meet over a pint and discuss their lads. Jonah is a blue, Robbie is a red but used to be blue when they were young. Robbie has succeeded in life - career, money etc. Jonah has struggled financially and has had a spell in prison. Jonah's boy is the better footballer. The story is told from Jonah's point of view. Jonah has guilt for his time in prison and away from his lad and for not being able to afford a season ticket etc, when times were tough. Both boys are due to meet for a match (opposing teams) last game of the season. Robbie offers Jonah a job (security) but there's a price. Robbie wants Jonah to make sure his boy doesn't play so it that it would make his boy look better for the scout that he knows is coming. Robbie offers him the job + season tickets, holiday spends etc. Jonah mulls this around but, the joy of seeing/watching his boy play and knowing how much it means to him sways his decision.Great 15 minute play

Hope this helps!

I bet we been together for a million years,
And I bet we'll be together for a million more.

Oh, It's like I started breathing on the night we kissed,
And I can't remember what I ever did before.

What would we do baby, Without Us?
What would we do baby, Without Us?

And there ain't no nothing we can't love each other through.

What would we do baby, Without Us?

Sha la la la.

Well I'm with you mate, excellent stuff.
There was one of those radio 4 15 minute play things on a few years back, and it was about commitment. It was a woman talking to her bloke (a City fan) about not showing commitment, just after he got back in from the 4-3 cup win at spuds. He didn't know the result and of course had left at half time. She's saying their relationship is going nowhere because he won't accept the rough with the smooth, and it's typical that he left at half time instead of showing some commitment to the cause.

No it's a City forum and someone's a posted a radio play on here because it's City related. If you don't like it don't bother looking, if it offends you there's something seriously wrong somewhere.

Tbf, the desperate pleading of OP's thread title is also a bit much. But carry on with said wank off.

I'm not, some times you have to be overly expressive to get your point across to the terminally stupid.
