Ha ha. He's a 'commentator' on 5live quite alot recently and to be fair he says quite nice thing about us .... well you would I suppose if you are still getting paid by a club

I'm not one for looking at values of players, seems a bit football manager to me, for example, with a year left on his deal De Jong's not worth £17m under accounting terms, he's prob worth a quarter of that. In value to the club he's prob worth triple that!

surely something more signicant would be to look at whats left on players contracts.

Conservatively your looking at £3m a month of the wage bill (a healthy £30m+ a year) plus at least 8 figure sums raised in transfer fees!
