Champs League Final 2013 Wembley AGAIN

Hi All
Couldnt see it anywhere else (apologies if it is), they have just said on the radio that Wembley will host the final AGAIN in 2013, which will be 150th Anniversary of the FA.
Nice if we could make that final? Only down side is that will mean that for 3rd year running the FA cup will be moved and be played whilst the league isstill being played which is wrong IMO

Apparently because it's the Football Associations' 150th Anniversary that year and also down to the fact that this years was so well organised
As if that's not good enough Platini has even said that they are going to look at the ticket pricing policy too! They must be going to slap us with something tomorrow to make up for it

What an absolute joke. The FA obviously have Platini in their pocket. If they'd have known about the 150 years, why'd they have this years final at Wembley? It stinks, and the smaller Uefa nations should be rightly furious. Champion of the smaller leagues my arse.

As you're from Oz, what's it to you? After all, you're not under Uefa. But how can you seriously suggest that the FA have Platini in their pocket? If that was true then we'd have done far better than ONE vote with our bid to host the 2018 World Cup. But he loves us so much that he's bringing in that income rule that could see us banned from the CL because we can afford to run at a loss knowing Sheikh Mansur will cover the costs.
So I do agree with Platini OUT!!!

My dear Nutzer, my post is an ironic jibe at many posters on this board that are continually up in arms about the apparent rough treatment England has received from Platini. You are correct in your assertion that it doesn't bother me one iota where the final is played.

150 years my arse! More like 90,000 fans paying a minimum of £100 with the average ticket sale being around £400 per prawn and cucumber sandwich muncher. They said that they'd charged to much and wouldn't do it again, we'll just have to wait and see, eh?
