Just wondered if they've improved it significantly inside as I've always found it cramped and blocked up with things that don't need to be there.
This vid [urlnp=http://mcfc.co.uk/Video/Features/City-Store-opening-part1]LINK[/urlnp] on the OS gives a bit of an impression but spends more time showing what the upstairs is going to be like
I do like the screens that are going to be on the outside of the store though, especially the large one showing the Champions League logos!

I was in there today and it looks a bit better but really not a lot imo. I have never been that bothered about how a store looks but all about what's in it and the prices. No chaange really.
I went to get Inter Milan tickets and that was a waste of time.Still hopeful but nobody seems to have a clue about them.

They've moved things about a bit on the ground floor but I don't think they've improved anything to be honest, still a bit dark and most of the big changes just feel like change for changes sake rather than having any real purpose. Ultimately I agree that for any shop and especially a football superstore that what is on sale is far more important and I'd have preferred them to invest the money in expanding the range, especially non-clothing stuff
Upstairs is now 60% printing (mainly shirts but other stuff too) and the rest is the seemingly pointless green screen thing, a reduced number of box office counters and the FA Cup on display.

Since they ditched the museum I guess the shop is the only place we have to put it on public display

They couldn't get the door open.

Hmmm doesn't sound like they've solved any of the previous problems then. I agree about needing a much wider range of products but the store has always been cluttered with fancy displays and other things that just aren't needed which leaves little or no room for more items to sell.
That green screen seems like a complete waste of time and money by the club

Which particular products do people want which are not already supplied? Just curious, as I never usually buy anything so I don't look very often. A range of City sex aids perhaps?

Thinking more for my kids who over the last year have wanted backpacks, caps, picture postcards etc - all of which have disappeared completely or had a very limited range

Whilst I'm not dismissing the sex aid idea completely ..... I was thinking more along the lines Craig was! Maybe some tasteful homeware too. The clothing side of things is a hundred times better than it used to be but does anyone remember the expanded megastore at Maine Road with the fake bedroom in it? Curtains, duvets, lamps, wallpaper, borders etc. Just as importantly how about lots of little pocket money priced items?

A bit of WD40 would sort out those seized hinges.

Yeah but even then they're not allowed to shift Tutankhamun without assistance from the proper authorities.
