does anyone else keep switching over to sky sports news at every advert break (no matter what time it is) hoping they see the yellow breaking news banner going across the bottom of the screen saying we've signed someone????
or is it just me????

When I seen this topic the first thing I thought was that they'd just released some breaking news about us signing someone.
Thanks for getting my hopes up!

Go to Skysports.com and just set up the info bar at the bottom for City! I have it running all day in the office ;-)
Clichy having medical now apparently!

The latest from SSN is
9:37
News: Gael Clichy is set to undergo a medical at Manchester City, Sky Sports sources understand.

If I'm perfectly honest....no....I have a funny old thing called "work" during the day and my employer bizarrely thinks that SSN is not strictly workplace material

I very rarely watch Sky, let alone flick across in the advert breaks for 'news'. They are up there with NOTW for making/insinuating bollox and then repeating it every 10mins to convince themselves ....

Are you subscribed to the Sky news package though?
Bizarrely, being subscribed to Sky sports (but NOT to Sky news) doesn't gain you access to Sky Sports News - even though freeview viewers can get it :s

Its a sad news for every one..Two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Dan Wheldon died Sunday of "unsurvivable injuries" sustained during a multi-car wreck at the Las Vegas Indy 300. He was 33.Racing accidents are not uncommon, though fatal ones have been rare in recent years."I know this sport is risky. I know we're exposed to that every day, in normal life as well. But you know, you don't think about it. Today we have to think about it," he said."I lost one of my best friends, one of my greatest teammates," driver Tony Kanaan said.

Is he better than Lahm?
Joking aside, a very sad event. Though where did this post come from and why did you decide to go in search of a 2 month old thread about something completely different?!?!?
