Tevez's Replacement?

I myself would look at signing either Aguero or Rossi as a direct replacement and also recruit Lukaku with the rest of the money and bring him on..... Who would you like to use the £50 mil we must receive for Carlos on?

We won't get £50 mil for him now, even though that's his value. Clubs will fuck us about like Barca are doing with Sanchez. As I said on the other thread, if he's being honest about doing this purely for his family let him go to Atletico & play for Aguero's wages, then we take Aguero.
I'm sure Atletico & their fans would be happy with that & we get a younger Tevez type player who may become better than him.

I'll show my arse inBurton's window if he goes anywhere for the 'pittance' that Ageuro is on. He values his family too highly - about £200k a week.

It all seems to point towards Aguero. I don't know if he'll be another Tevez, but he seems to be the closest there is.
And who cares if he goes to Madrid or Inter? That doesn't mean shit to me, he obviously wants to go to the best club he can.
All I care about is how we look come the end of the window. We need a HUGE signing. Maybe this is what we were waiting for as far as transfers go this window.

IMO and due to the FFP we'll be looking at a swap or loan deal for Tevez.
Inter, Real Madrid and Barca all have players they may be willing to swap, if only for a season. I'm thinking Eto, Schnejder, Kaka, Benzema, Iniesta, Villa. Any of those would sweeten the pill. Aguero could be a possibility also.

For me we should be aiming for a youngish player so any of the following would do
Mario Gomez
Alexander Pato
Sergio Aguero
Edinson Cavani
Hulk
Giuseppe Rossi
Gonzalo Higuain
If we are looking for experience one of the following
David Villa
Didier Drogba
Samuel Etoo

Imo if we end up with Benzema or similar for Tevez we're fucked. Tevez is a special kind of player & we need someone equally 'dynamic' (as Hughes would say) or we'll go backwards next season

Torres £50 mil Sanchez £35 mil Rossi £35 mil Aguero £35mil Ronaldo £80 million this is the market we are in and he is one of the absolute best therefore it commands top money. We need to stand firm on this n show all of Europe Man City is a team that cannot be bullied anymore as we have done with Boeteng and Bayern .... u wanna buy him no problem thats the price right there take it or leave it if nobody pays the money he stays put not our fault he is worth that money n whats more we dont actually need to sell him, he signed the contract nobody forced him to. So toddle along Kia n find out who's playing at the big boys table cos if your not then its simple fuck off cos we're man city n we dont give a fuck

Part of me still thinks we've already bought our replacement in Dzecko, i.e. we got him when we did to give him 6 months to 'adapt' knowing Tevez was going to spitt he dummy again in the summer.

That's it, get the Samaritans on the phone. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, you come and kick the still from under me.
Still, if he gets injured, we've always got Jo.

Bobby wants to have different types of player at his disposal, Mario - quick skillful n unpredictable Dzeko - Tall powerfull good in the air, we need a tevez style replacement tenacious skillfull strong for me Aguero Rozzi and Hulk fit the criteria

Unfortunately, if we don't get him out of the club & Tevez spits his dummy out, we will soon have a big fat Tevez n our hands who is no use to anybody. So, as Bob has already said we need a 4th striker & we are clearly in the market for another attacking midfielder, we will have to sign two strikers (one to play in place of fat sulking Tevez) & an attacking midfielder in order to have the squad Bob wants. That's another £80-100 million + the other signings Bob's lined up which means at least 3 extra sets of huge wages + fat Tevez' wages still on the books, just when we're supposed to be cutting costs.
Khaldoon is just not going to do that, whether we like it or not. The best thing we can do is swap him.

a straight swap for ineista, kaka and 10mill, agureo and 10 mill or sneider and 15mill and then go buy drogba anyway, once the price is reasonable. we need a proven prem goal scorer. mario and dzeko will come good but need another half a season at least.
I wonder would chelsea give us drogba on loan for a season if we promised to stay out of the modric auction, or another deal they are interested in?

We need two. Mancini has said he wanted another striker as well as Tevez.

Somehow i doubt Chelsea would be as kind.
