It would be good to get this matter concluded, so we can move on. But I do hope City don't settle for less than £50, just to put an end to the saga.

He won't go to Italy, he wants to be closer to his family in Argentina.

Supposedly!

Tevez has been spotted in a family restaurant in Turin, it must be true.

Apparently - the problem is Manchester. The reconciled wife would cone back to a Turin or Madrid

Seems a little convenient but I genuinely don't think his wish to move is football or money related

Have you been to Turin? It's a fucking dump. Makes Manchester look Paris.

Id take it and get this over with asap. Why he would want to go there is beyond me but thats his problem.

Not a city though! I had trouble with finding a comparison! There arent many cities that dont have a few dumps.

So have Juventus actually made that bid or is it just this Sanchez guy claiming they made a bid?

If Juventus made a 45m bid I hope we sell!

Why sell now? Corinthians are just 'two years shy' of being a footballing and monetary powerhouse. If Sanchez wants to use this to be proselyte for Brazilian football, we should be asking them to fund a 50million+ deal off the money that's just around the corner.

Basically, play the two clubs off each other and accept the 45 only if and when both clubs refuses to raise their hand.

Jose's still to enter the race and we all know that RM would be preference number one if they did. At least, at this point, we've reached Aguero's release clause. I say we can afford to hold out though - the season's still a month away (and it shouldn't hold up our search for a replacement).

What the fuck are you saying, mate? I live in Turin and all I can say is this is an agreable town full of monuments, restaurants, pubs and locals! Obviously we're not Paris but a lot of people usually come here for tourism during the year. The only tragedy we actually have is our airport. If Tevez would leave Italy for Argentina he'd take a car to go all the times to Milan Malpensa. But if Juve would give us the money we want, allelujah!

You could say the same about Manchester. And it's not like there's no winter in Turin for example.

If there is any truth in this then do the deal.

I still have a feeling that he'll end up at Chelsea and that his desire to be 'closer to his family' will suddenly turn in to a desire to 'be in a city his family can settle in'.

This is all about Carlos, Mancini, Cook and Jorabchian imo.

Because the season is starting again soon and I would like us to get rid of Tevez asap and get Aguero in. I feel the latter won't happen until Tevez is gone... we are losing time.

Update:
Sky Sports sources have been told that Manchester City have received no official bid from Juventus for striker Carlos Tevez. More to follow on this story shortly...

So I guess this Sanchez feller should jsut shut up!

I'm still hoping that someone comes in for him who has a player that we could use as part-ex, and I'm thinking a good back-up goalkeeper or a sideline-hugging right-winger.

This is the exact reason I don't use Sky Sports' website or watch SSN on TV.
