With the news this morning that Corinthians have pulled out of the deal to sign Carlos, and with the lack of interest from any other club it looks like he could still be with us this season.
So, the question is....

The best player in the world at what he does, no brainer for me.

Buy Aguero anyway ( he will only want to leave again in Jan), play them together/rotate them - but definitely take the captains armband off him.

what he said. Buy Aguero and Tevez can become and will have to put up with being treated as "just another striker" until we can sell him in a way that suits us. It might happen before the end of this transfer window, it might not happen til Xmas. If we continue to act in good faith and try to arrive at a position that suits both City and the player than he can have no complaints. He might not be delighted but I'm positive he'll still put in his usual efforts on the field. I'd play him without a doubt.
I'd actually now prefer us to go for the swap with Sneijder and bring in Ageuro and let him, Balotelli and Dzeko jockey for the starting spots with Guidetti to support as necessary

If we don't play him his value will only drop anyway, so we might as well sell him on the cheap now. If hes here and he puts the effort in, then play him.
Take the armband off him though.

Not fussed as long as we still buy Aguero. If this shit means we are stuck with the ugly cunt who so desperately wants away that he went public about it TWICE within 6 months and won't sign Aguero then I will be fucking fuming.

Of course we still play him. He's one of the best players in the world. We want to win the league and he can help us do that.
He's still being paid by the club and he's always given 100% on the pitch. If he fails to perform, or purposely doesn't put any effort in, then we can look at not playing him, potentially with a breach of contract issue. But I don't think that would happen.
If we buy Aguero, then we have 2 of the best strikers in the world and need to get the best out of both of them. If we don't buy Aguero, then Tevez becomes absolutely vital.

Of course we play him. Get aguero in and let tevez pick up the slack until he is up to speed with the english game.
As soon as someone comes close to the asking price though just get rid.
Don't want him and his negative shit around young meister Agüero for too long.
Imagine a commited tevez who wanted to play for us upfront with aguero though.

I've gone for no for want of a better option.
Even if we don't sign Agüero, or anyone else, I'd still work on the understanding between Balotelli and Dzeko. I've got high hopes for the pair of them and still think they could be the most lethal pair in the league.
Dzeko up top with Silva and Balotelli just off?

He's our best attacking option and I would deffo play him. City comes before any player and what's best for the team is best for the club.
I would also take great delight in dropping him whenever possible.

As it is new shirt time for some, is Tevez finished as far as marketing is concerned. just a thought.

Dzeko is still missing those sitters though. His movement and passing has looked better pre season but that could just as easily be the quality of the oppo so still not sure on dzeko. Expecting alot from balo this season though if he stay injury/ban free.

Only an idiot would not play him if he stays. He always gives 100% and as NQDP says his value will drop if we don't play him ... no brainer all round

Wasn't me but I agree with that so I suppose it's pretty much the same.

Shop window situation, if he's sat on the bench it will harm his value

Jesus,
If we play him what will it do for the morale of the squad? I'm sorry but his days as a number 1 starter should be over. If he stays and we pick up injuries, and he ends up having to play, and shows 100% passion for Manchester City, then I might change my mind.
But right now, if his little plan back fires and he ends up staying, he should not be centre of attention.
Mancini will go down in my estimation if he pretends nothing has happened. It would take some fucking serious Tevez grovelling to claw back any respect from me.
You dont go back and feed the dog that bit your hand.
We are Manchester City, we are NOT Carlos Tevez.

I want him gone but would be happy to see him play in the Swansea game, i will cheer his goals but nothing else, won't sing his name.
I will be extremely pissed off with Mancini though if Kompany or de Jong are not leading us out against United at wembley as new permanent captain.
