I know the tickets are on general sale but im very worried that we wont sell out. Anyone have an idea on how they are selling?

It would be pretty embarrasing if we dont sell out, especially against the scum!!!

Come on everyone who is thinking about going. It's city at wembley against united for a trophy. Some people never thought they would see that in their lifetime. Eat beans on toast for a fortnight, cancel espn for a season, get a night job in a tesco express for a month, just get them tickets bought. For all that the club have done for us let's not have empty seats at wembley. I know we don't have the tourists yet like united which makes it harder to sell out but that will only make it that more special.

Well, I wanted to take a couple of friends to this, but neither of them have supporters numbers with the club. Is there anyway around this?

I cant believe that there are so many tickets left, and its down to blue card holders so surely like me there must be so many city fans that have never had a chance to see us play for any trophy at wembley before. The buss im on is now full I hear so I cant get my brother inlaw on, but I think he is trying to sort out another way down.

With hindsight, we should have awarded more than 20 loyalty points for this one.

Same here but that's on the basis of Platinum. I'm talking the base figure should have been more than 20.

Well that is me and my lad booked up, west level one, 137 behind the goal off toward the corner flag. My lads first city game, Manchester is a long day out for me let alone a 7yr old but if he gets hooked it could become quite expensive to-ing and throw-ing for home games. But hey Shit happens! For once my location has gone in our favour, 30 mins away on a non match day!

I won't be home, but if I was, I still wouldn't be going. I suppose as it's for charity, Wembley stadium will be covering all their own costs?

I had to go to the cup final but in a case like this, those unelected, bent, nest-feathering, cunts can take their plastic, prawn sandwich filled, southern biased, over budget, soulless 'rocking all over the world', wnite elephant, stadium & stick it up their fucking arseholes.

Especially if the NSPCC find out. ;)

You'd better sell it out!

Either that or you've let it all go to your heads very quickly indeed.

It took Chelsea two or three years of dominance before they started struggling to sell their Charity Shield allocation...

...and you can bet your last petro-billion that your neighbours will have sold out theirs.

Chelsea are in London.

City have never claimed to be a Massive club - that was a once witty Man Utd invention. But we are loyal. But how many times can the same 35k keep shelling out for season tickets, Cup games, aways, and Wembley.

And City's selling regime doesn't help. Can'y buy in person, and only just gone on sale to those with purchase history, but because they have to send them by post, they can only be on "general sale" for a week. Had they gone on general sale earlier they would have sold out by now. Might still sell out.

But they dont have to pay as much for the travel, its no more than 45 mins on the tube for any of them?

OK, I see the points that you're making, but are you suggesting that, for instance, if Sunderland, Everton or even Forest had won the FA Cup, they'd not be selling out the Charity Shield?

I didn't realise about the selling regime, which appears to be designed to be a pain in the backside.
