Get De Jong's Contract Sorted, Pronto, Sheik

Just back from the Dublin SuperCup, and, of course, the little magician called Silva was a joy to watch and deserved to win MOTM, - but only just, from another little man, - albeit a little man who you wouldn't fancy meeting on a dark street
Of course I've always been a huge fan of the lad: I had him shading my Player of the Year last season, and he was just pipped on the run-in by Carlito in the previous season but, perched quite high up, as I was, today, enabled me to better appreciate what he does for the team.
Sure he conceded a couple of soft frees but I don't think he even had to make too many tackles because of his superb anticipation and the way he hassles and harries opponents and directs them down blind alleys; the quality of his passes, which continue to increase in range; the way he takes the sting out of an attack when he receives the ball and re-directs traffic; knowing which of our defenders might be most vulnerable and most needs his support, while at the same time being aware of possible subsidiary threats.
Did he give away the ball once?
I don't think so; apart from those couple of soft frees
I'm interested to hear what the tv commentators made of his performance, or how much of it was seen.
In the meantime, Sheik........."Shake, Shake, Shake....Shake, Shake, Shake...Sheik yer booty"
And sign that man up!
