Wow David Silva is absolutely amazing!

On the other hand Sneijder is very ordibnary next to him and was chasin his own arse round the pitch today...

That will be all!!!

i knew someone would talk about this after the match....

keep in mind Inter has only played 2 games now in their preseason (im pretty sure)...just us and celtic yesterday. plus, they were missing some key figures due to the copa america.
also, their new manager switched up their formation and many have said sneijder cant flourish in it....we'll see.

before we signed silva last year i wouldve said sneijder hands down. but now, i love silva here at city.

Sneijder is very dangerous at set pieces & shooting in general, which would be a big asset for us if we signed him. He can't even lace Silva's boots at other aspects though. Silva is one of the best attacking mids in the world & will get even better imo. Awesome.

To be fair to Sneijder, I think he had quite a few relatively unfamiliar faces playing alongside him today
And I think Inter are a week or two behind us in their preparation.

But I've been reluctant to welcome any press speculation of our alleged interest in Sneijder, Modric, or Nasri, because I think any one of them might just cramp Siva's style, and the boy is just pure poetry in motion; if he can get more goals in his locker this season he'll probably be, officially, my favourite all-time City player, by season's end.

I think it's another apples and oranges, playmaker vs late arriving midfielder.

With Milner and Barry already there I think what we need is another holding midfielder to back up de Jong. Without him we seem rudderless.

On yesterdays' performances it was like Mayweather V Hatton, but I stress that's purely on yesterdays' game. Silva was utterly superb whilst Wesley was mostly anonymous. Both excellent players but a bit of a no contest yesterday

Silva makes sneijder look average. The rags are welcome to him.

Silva = PL POTY if he played for anyone but us.

If Silva was a skillful but thick headed English type player ( Beckham, Lampard,Gerrard etc) who could only operate by hogging his own favourite areas of the pitch & running head first into anyone he finds in his way then this would be true but he's not. He prefers to drift around into any space available where he can receive the ball. You could put 4 David Silvas in the same team & they would all.find space.

Then you would effectively be Barcelona. If Nasri signs, Silva will have no problem linking with him. He'll just move two yards to where the defender isn't.

I've never been fully convinced by Nasri, though; to me he always seemed to go missing when the going got tough.
Of course Bobby Manc will be a harder taskmaster than the over-indulgent Wenger,.....but,.....
